Chapter 19

"Alright, see you soon," Camila said through the phone.

We were all sitting in the living area chatting until Camila got a phone call. Normani was eating her pringles while Ally was listening and Dinah and Lauren were on their phones. I ruffled my eyebrows and stood up as she hung up.

"Again?" I pouted.

She gave me a nod with a sigh. "I know, Y/n. It's what I have to do,"

I nodded in response and gave her a peck. She smiled and waved before grabbing her things and leaving the bus. I sat back down and stared down at my shoes. "Where is she going?" I asked breaking the silence between us. Dinah didn't respond nor did Lauren but Ally and Normani looked up at me. Normani shrugged and took a bite of her chip.

"I guess it's business," Ally replied.

"But wouldn't you guys go with her then?" I asked and looked at them all.

Ally shrugged and Lauren looked up. "What?"

"How come Camila is leaving all of a sudden," I said,

"She's working on a song or something," Lauren covered her mouth instantly.

I raised an eyebrow and so did the others. I stood up and walked over to her. "What song?" We were all surrounding her.

"Umm, I don't know." She panicked.

I headed towards the bunks and ran my hand through my hair. Why wouldn't she tell me? And with who? I turned around and looked at Lauren again. "With who?" I questioned. She just gave me an innocent shrug and I pulled out my laptop and layed in my bed. I searched up anything about Camila making a new song.

I watched a couple interviews and no one knew who she was doing a song with. Was Lauren lying? I closed my laptop and called Camila.

"Hey, babe!" Camila echoed through the phone.

"Hey, how's it going?"

"Meh, but I just need you here," she said.

I blushed a little. "Mila come on," someone said in the background.

"Okay!" Camila shouted. "I've gotta go. Love you!"

"Wait who are you with?!" I tried saying but she hung up.

I groaned in frustration. I got out of my bunk and got off the bus. I took a deep breath in and leaned against the bus looking up at the moon and soon to be dark sky. I heard the door open and footsteps. I switched my gaze towards the door to see Lauren appear.

"Hey Laur, what's up?" I greeted.

She smiled in return and replied, "What're you doing out here?"

"Oh, just getting some fresh air." I sighed.

"You're worrying about Camz, huh?"

I nodded still looking at the sky.

"She's fine, Y/n." She reassured but I shook my head.

"How come she hasn't told me anything about this? If she's gone a lot more will she lose me and find someone else? Were you lying Lauren? Is she actually making a song with someone else?" I rambled on.
