You're Mine (Camila/You)

Chapter 13

Camila and I spent more time together since the other night. We consider our relationship as best friends but I feel like we need to be more than that. I still can't believe she's with Austin. He's been giving me glares every time I'm near her but I'm not gonna make a mover on her. She's in a relationship with him and I will respect that. Now if I ever did want to finally express my feelings to her that's when they'll break up. Plus, how does she stay in a relationship longer with his dumbass instead of me?

I was eating a sandwich when there was a knock at my door. I groaned and got up to go answer it. "Hey!" Camila greeted me with a huge hug. I hugged back trying to to get my sandwich on her.

"So how are you and Austin?" I asked taking a bite out my sandwich.

She sat on the couch and I sat next to her. "Eh, we're doing O.K. We've had a few fights here and there but we're making up."

I rolled my eyes and continued to eat my sandwich. "Umm, Camila..."

She whipped her head towards me and raised her eyebrows.

"I was thinking maybe we could start over on a new song. Of course not right now but in the future." I smiled.

She looked down at her feet and thought for a moment. A smile slowly formed on her face and she simply nodded. Here was a loud bang on the door and I stood up to got get it. I opened the door to receive a smack in the face. Austin stomped towards Camila and harshly grabbed her arm pulling her arm towards me. He stopped in front of me.

"Dont you dare ever look, think, talk, or even touch her again!" He spat.

He then turned to Camila while dragging her along. "I told you not to talk to him!" He shouted at her.

I watched as she squirmed trying to get loose of his grip but he tightly held on. I felt bad for her. I wanted to help her but it wasn't my business. I headed into my office and sat in my chair spinning around just thinking. What should my new song be about? I wanted to do another love song since I haven't done one in a while. Though Camila was dating Austin so that would be awkward. My thoughts were interrupted as there was a ding from my phone. I instantly picked up seeing Camila's name.

Camila - I'm so sorry about earlier

Me - Are you even happy with him?

It took a couple minutes for her to reply.

Camila - I am

Me - HA tell me how

Camila - He shows kindness

I could do that. How does he show her kindness?

Camila - He's very loving.

Same.

Camila - he's handsome

I scoffed. But I am too.

Camila - And he's just... there's too much

I rolled my eyes and chuckled.

Me - Camila you don't have to lie

Camila - Otay fine! Maybe he isn't that kind but come on. He makes me feel happy

Me - But you came running and crying to me the other day...

~Flashback~

There were repetitive knocks on my door. I was passed out on the couch trying to sleep. It was exhausting. The knocks just kept coming. I sighed getting up to open the door. I was met with Camila and she hugged me tears dripping all over my shoulder. I closed the door and sat her on the couch.
