Warm

An expanse of pale skin is exposed to Weizhou's view, just right below the soft fuzz gracing the aristocratic chin terminating that strong-jawed profile. Weizhou thinks he'd like to lick that skin, but contented himself with nuzzling the long neck right up beneath the ear with its signature diamond stud. He huffs a contented breath, even as he nuzzled further into the still-sleeping figure and unconsciously rubbed his body over where he lay above Jingyu.

The movement made Jingyu stir, briefly opening his eyes to find Zhouzhou over him. While he appreciated the warm body above his, he still sleepily complained. "Zhouzhou, it's too early in the morning. Why are you up awake?" He closed back his eyes and stretched his neck away from where Zhouzhou's nose tickled it.

Zhouzhou just chuckled, not at all offended with Jingyu's efforts to get away when doing so would actually mean being awake and getting out of Zhouzhou's embrace. He chased after that sexy jawline, pressing light, warm kisses down to Jingyu's chin. Jingyu hummed.

"Happy New Year," Zhouzhou softly greeted, warm breath ghosting over Jingyu's cheek. The warmth just served to lull Jingyu into wanting to go back to sleep.

"Happy New Year, too," Jingyu slightly capitulated, wrapping his arms around Zhouzhou's naked back and pressing his cheek onto the side of Zhouzhou's neck. "Can we go back to sleep now?" He mumbled.

They had greeted the Chinese New Year with their own kind of fireworks so they were only asleep a short time before Zhouzhou had woken up in Jingyu's embrace with a sudden desire to snuggle. The sky outside their window had gradually lightened and Zhouzhou became fascinated with Jingyu's profile.

Zhouzhou placed a much more substantial kiss on Jingyu's temple, causing Jingyu to open an eye and peer at Zhouzhou. "Sorry to have woken you. Just wanted to watch you," Zhouzhou said before he moved around so that his ear lay on Jingyu's chest, right over his beating heart.

A further warmth invaded Jingyu and he only smiled as he kissed the top of Zhouzhou's head before pulling up the comforter over them both. As the dawn broke over the new year, Jingyu and Weizhou spent it peacefully sleeping in each other's arms.
