Perfect match

I can't believe that happened. I lie in bed awake going over the events of the night. I remember Harry and Niall talking to me and my heart and stomach do backflips. I picture Niall's face and smile and my heart skips a beat. I've loved him ever since the X-factor. In my eyes is was the funniest most adorable person on the planet. And then he actually talks to me! I can still feel his hand on my arm, stopping me from walking away. To be honest he didn't even have to grab my arm, his stare could have paralyzed me just as easily. He actually talked to me! And listened! I roll over and squeal into my pillow.

Then I remembered the look on Katie's face. That look of ice that paralyzed me just like Niall's touch. The look that haunted my dreams, the look that could have froze the sun. My stomach turns at the very thought of her. I roll back over and try not to think about her but when I finally fall asleep I dream of evil witches and a handsome prince.

The next morning me and Bella decide to go out for breakfast since we have no classes today. We choose the little café where my friendship with Katie had first started crumbling down. I shake my head, I won't let Katie ruin my mood this morning,or my favourite café. We sit down and order our coffee and muffins.

"So," Bella says with a smile, "it turned out that saying yes to Katie was a good thing."

"Sorta kinda," I say truthfully. I loved the Niall and Harry part but I can't stand being in the same room as that bitch. Some people may say I'm overreacting but I'm not. She really is a lying, rude, manipulative bitch. Pretending to be friends with someone only to stab them in the back. Whispering behind people's back. Starting rumours. The list goes on and on. And she's done every one of those things to me.

Our orders arrive and I snap back to reality. I smile thankfully at the waitress and spoon some sugar into my coffee. I sigh and take a sip. My life is way too complicated.

"What about you?" I ask.

"What do you mean?" Bella asks back.

"Do you think saying yes to Katie was a good idea?"

"Yeah..." she says with a blush.

"Oh my god spill," I say. She's hiding something about last night, I can tell.

"Well there was this guy..." she says smiling and pouring some milk into her coffee and stirring it. I knew it!

"What's his name? What does he like?" I ask, dying to know more.

"His name is Ron. Yes like Ron Weasley," she says laughing when I raise my eyebrows questioningly, "he's 20, one year older than us. Ummm... he's a fanboy so we talked about stuff like SuperWhoLock and Harry Potter. He finds it ironic that Harry Potter is his favourite book series and his name is Ron. And yeah, he's great!" She smiles brightly. I'm happy for her, this guy sounds like her perfect match.

"He sounds great!" I say smiling. I wonder if Niall is my perfect match.
