Two
There were two
A great ridge kept them separate.
They grew, slowly, burning.
Suddenly the swell rose and they fell
Fell from the cliffs that restricted them.
Carving their way down the sheer surface
Past the ridge they continued.
The two left warmth in their wake though they held a bitter taste.
Then they met
At the bottom of the world they became one.
They were the only two
The tear for me and the tear for you.
