Andy's POV

I couldn't believe Pete didn't tell us. He did say he had reasons, but I really would have had her alive and pissed off at him than in a coma. I should have went for Jasey as soon as I saw her.

I stormed out of the room as fast as I could. Monica called out my name but I ignored her. Walking over to the chairs we were all sleeping in earlier, I threw my bag into the wall out of pure anger. One of the nurses gave me a weird look before turning back to her work. I sat down in one of the chairs, trying to wrap my head around the whole situation.

"Why?" I whispered. "Why would you not tell me?"

I could have grabbed her and pull her away, but I reacted a moment too late. Her screams still rung in my head. She sounded so scared and in so much pain, yet there was barely anything we could do to help her. She may be in a coma, but as Joe said its still inside her and killing her bit by bit. She may not even have much time left.

Looking over at the black backpack Jasey gave me, I remembered that she begged me to guard it with my life.

"Could it be?" I wondered, yanking down one of the zippers. Inside was exactly what I hoped there to be; the notebook. It was completely dry and intact, luckily. I flipped open the book and began scanning through the pages, looking for something that could wake Jasey up. Unfortunately, it was all written in a foreign language that I didn't understand at all.

"Great." I muttered. But before I closed the book, I noticed a small insignia inked into one of the pages. It was Jasey's heart tattoo. Quickly, I turned to that page. There was a note inside, clearly in Jasey's handwriting.

"Andy,

If you are reading this, I was unsuccessful in my attempt to destroy the demon and am now either in a coma or worse. If I'm in a coma, there is a way in this book to revive me, but it isn't easy and there is a high risk of also reviving the demon along with me. In order for it to work, you need both Joe and my sister, Tessa. If my assumptions are correct, she has the same abilities as I do and will be able to find the spell to wake me up. You need to contact Tessa and fast. I don't know how much time I will have.

-Jasey"

There was also a small note at the bottom.

"PS. I know you and the others are mad at Pete for not telling you, but it isn't his fault. I did this on my own decision and made him swear not to tell anyone. This was inevitable and I knew that the moment I read the spell. I did this to protect you. I owe you all do much more than you know. I care about you guys more than anything. I'm sorry.

And if the worst is expected, please tell Patrick that I love him one last time

Keep fighting.

Save Rock and Roll."

As I read the note aloud, I had the feeling someone was looking over my shoulder. I ignored it for as long as I could until I heard a familiar voice in my ear.

"So where would we find her sister?" Joe asked, making me jump a mile in the air and drop the book. He laughed hysterically as one of the doctors stared at me.

"One, please don't do that again." I settled back down and picked the book back up off the floor. "And two, she's on the other side of the country and I have no way of contacting her."

Joe raised an eyebrow. "How did you know that?"

I rolled my eyes. "Her sister was the doctor back in Jersey when Patrick had that panic attack. Remember?"

"Oh yea." He replied. "I thought they looked alike. So how do we get her out here to do this?"

"I think Jasey's got us covered on that part." I pointed to a phone number scribbled down underneath the note.

"Well what are we standing around here for?" Joe leapt up. "Call her and get her out here!"

We both sped down the hallway to the receptionists desk. A girl with dirty blonde hair tightly pulled back turned to me. "May I help you sir?" She asked.

"Yes, do you have a phone I could borrow?" I asked. "It's really important."

She nodded. "Yea, theres a pay phone just around the corner. But it won't cost you anything, it's all paid by the hospital."

That was a relief. "Thank you so much." I thanked her.

"No problem." She smiled. "Do I know you from somewhere?"

I didn't say anything, the last thing we needed right now was attention. Joe and I made our way over to the pay phones and punched in Tessa's number.

Ring.

Ring

Ring

"Hello?" I heard a voice sleepily mumble. I forgot it was the middle of the night. "Who is this?"

"Is this Tessa Riddell?" I asked, hoping Jasey wrote down the right number.

"Yep." She mumbled. "This is her. Who needs to know?"

"Tessa, it's Andy. Andy Hurley." I answered.

"What?!" She exclaimed, now sounding fully awake. "No way, you're supposed to be dead."

"Well I'm not. The police found us a few hours ago." I explained. "I'm calling about your sister."

"What about Jasey?" Tessa gasped. "Is she okay?" I heard the worry in her voice.

"Tessa, I hate to say this, but Jasey is in a coma." I said quietly.

"What?!" Tessa cried. "Where are you? I'm coming to see for myself." I heard the shuffling of bed sheets and footsteps.

"We're in LA." I told her, covering the speaker. "Joe, what's the name of this place?" I asked him.

"Saint Rose Hospital." He told me.

"Saint Rose Hospital." I repeated. "Hurry, it's bad."

"I'm booking flights now." She told me. "I'll be there as soon as I can. Thanks a lot Andy." She thanked me, then hung up.

After all that, Joe and I made out way back to Jasey's room. Everyone was still there and all in the same place.

"Guys, Andy and I have some news." Joe spoke up.

"It better be some good news." Patrick muttered. "As if we haven't had enough bad news already."

"What is it?" Pete asked.

I pulled out the book and held it open to the page with Jasey's note on it.

"I think we just found a way to wake her up."
