Jasey's POV

I was completely and utterly lost on where I am, who these people were, and what they want with me. They all looked so familiar, but I never met them before in my life.

"Okay, what the hell is going on?" I began to panic. "Where am I? Who are you people? what do you want with me?" I rapid-fired questions at the three of them.

The man behind the piano stood up and looked eye level at me. "Jasey, I know you're scared, but for the next few minutes, you're going to have to trust us. My name is Sir Elton John and this is Joseph." Joe nodded to me.

"Everything that you see as reality is not real. You are in a coma, trapped by a monster that is still out to kill you." He explained briefly.

I shook my head. "What? No! That's insane, you're all insane."

Joe stepped in. "No, they're not. I can show you." His eyes turned from bright blue to glowing silver as the room began to flicker around us and turned transparent. Then the room disappeared and revealed that we were in a hospital room.

"What the......" I wondered, looking around. There were only five people in the room, all of which I immediately recognized. Luke was pacing at the foot of the bed. I saw that Caitlin was handcuffed to a chair, dressed in all black and struggling against her restraints. Tessa was leaning against the entrance to the room, clutching a small notebook close to her chest. And there were two others sitting beside the bed. One was Monica, dressed in black skinny jeans and a hot pink tee shirt. She looked like she had been crying as well. And the person next to her made my heart stop.

It was Andy, completely and fully alive. He was reaching out to the bed. I looked to see who it was and gasped. I was the one on the bed. At least, it looked like me. My hair was bright red and my arm was covered in a colorful sleeve of tattoos. I looked like the girl I met in the warehouse.

She was right all along, she was me.

"Do you believe me now?" Joe spoke up.

I nodded. "What happened to me?"

"You were attacked by a demon. It tried to kill you, but I was able to cast a spell on you that was able to stop it. But it wasn't enough to save you." His voice lowered at the last part. I must have been really important to him before this.

"Joe," I turned to him. "Who was I? Before all this."

He laughed halfheartedly. "Someone great. Brilliant, committed, talented, witty, strong, beautiful, brave, and one of the most amazing people I ever got to know."

The room began to disappear around us, sending us back to the white hall we came from. The other me was leaning against the piano, singing along to the music.

"I need more dreams
And less life
I need that dark
In a little more light
I cried tears you'll never see
So fuck you, you can go cry me an ocean
And leave me be

You are what you love
Not who loves you
In a world full of the word 'Yes'
I'm here to scream

No, no
Wherever I go, go
Trouble seems to follow
I only plugged in to save rock and roll
Rock and roll, no
Wherever I go, go
Trouble seems to follow
I only plugged in to save rock and roll"

She actually had an amazing voice. Then the man at the piano joined in.

Blood brothers in desperation
An oath of silence for the voice of our generation"

Then I decided to jump in. The song rang a bell in the back of my head, so why not?

"Whoa, how'd it get to be only me?
Like I'm the last damn kid still kicking
That still believes"

They both looked up at me and we all began singing the song together.

I will defend the faith
Going down swinging
I will save the songs
That we can't stop singing

No, no
Wherever I go, go
Trouble seems to follow
I only plugged in to save rock and roll
Rock and roll, no
Wherever I go, go
Trouble seems to follow
I only plugged in to save rock and roll"

The last few notes rang through the hall, giving the whole atmosphere some kind of power to it. I learned that words can be powerful, but I never believed it. The other me stood up and walked over to me.

"So, do you believe us now?"

I nodded furiously. "How do we get out of here? How do we wake up?"

She smiled. "It's simple, you remember."

"Remember what?"

She rolled her eyes. "Pete and Patrick." She explained. "They aren't who you think they are."

"Wait, so Fall Out Boy isn't real. It's just a part of this whole dream?" I guessed.

She shook her head. "The exact opposite. Fall Out Boy is very much real. Except you're part of it." She explained. Suddenly, the whole room began to glow and shake.

Joe rushed over to the other me and grasped her tight. "It's not safe here! You two have to get out of here!"

"I know what to do." She broke free of his grip and dashed over to me. Her touch felt like fire on my skin, I screamed in pain. She began to fade away, leaving a swirling mass of color to wrap around me. Then she completely disappeared, leaving only the colored smoke behind. It kept wrapping around me until fading into my right arm. It twisted and wrapped itself into the shape of a rose on my forearm. But before I could react, Joe snapped me back into "reality".

"Jasey, get out of here!" He exclaimed. "It's not safe for you here! Run, run fast!" Before I could answer, a white light consumed my surroundings, leaving me to run to nothing, just white.

Suddenly, I heard a voice call out my name. "Jasey! Jace, wake up. Oh dear god please don't be dead Jasey." They begged. I was yanked out of the white light and into darkness. My eyes snapped open and I shot upright. Pete was kneeling beside me, a look of worry etched into his face. I was back in the office, back in my jeans and hoodie. The girl was gone though.

"Wha?" I groaned. My head was throbbing and my arm felt like it was on fire. "What the hell?"

"Pete and I found you here knocked out." Patrick explained. "We were worried about you."

I laughed. "Haha, thanks. but I'm fine." I lied. "Did you two find anything?"

"No." They said in unison. "What about you?"

I shook my head. "Nothing." I lied again, I had a feeling that I shouldn't tell them about anything that just happened. "Let's get out of here. This place is really creeping me out."

The guys both agreed. Pete led the way, followed by Patrick and me taking up the rear. My arm still stung really bad once we got out. Once in the solitude of my car, I rolled up my sleeve and let out a small scream.

The rose was still there tattooed to my forearm.
