Jasey's POV

The demon cackled insanely at us. I wasn't scared of it anymore. I was angry, scratch that, I was downright furious and seeing red.

"I'm not afraid of you." I snapped. "You wanna fight? Come and get it!"

Yellow-Eyes just smirked at me, which ticked me off even more. I looked over at Pete and he looked ready to take the demon's head off with his bare hands.

"Oh don't worry Riddell." It glared at us. "The fight shall come soon enough." Black smoke began to snake around it until the whole room was filled. Pete and I began coughing fitfully, trying to inhale as little of the smoke as possible. I was able to conjure up a blast of wind strong enough to clear out all the smoke. When it all cleared, it was just Pete and I alone in the warehouse.

"Yellow-Eyes!" Pete commanded. "Show yourself, you coward." I could feel the hate and venom in his voice, and I felt the exact same way.

"Over here." We both heard a different voice mock from behind us. Pete and I spun around and I had to stifle a scream, Pete's face turned as red as my real hair. The demon has shifted its form and took on the appearance into Patrick, but it wasn't Patrick.

His eyes were still that sickening dark yellow color that gave the demon its name, his honey-brown was blood splattered and frizzy, and one of his hands was replaced with a razor sharp hook. "Right here, Red."

I suddenly felt sick to my stomach. How could it do something as sick and twisted as this? But then again, it murdered Joe, possessed Patrick, posessed me,split me into two people, and tried to kill me, but this, this was one step too far. I gripped my axe so hard I thought it was to snap.

"Son of a bitch." Pete growled. It began to circle us like a predator about to make its final kill. He looked back to me. "You know what to do?"

I nodded. "Yea, break on three. One, two.."

"THREE!" We both exclaimed. Pete and I split up and circled 'Patrick'. I weilded my axe at it, but it deflected my strike. Pete jabbed at it and made contact, stabbing the demon in the stomach. Yellow-Eyes howled in pain. Pete smirked.

"You'll pay for that Wentz." It snarled. It swung the hook around at him. Pete jumped back. I repositioned myself with my axe and swung it over Yellw-Eyes's head. I flipped it to the blunt side and slammed it over its back with a loud thud. That caught its attention.

"You'll pay for that." It snapped. I was scared to death for a moment, but that left as soon as it came. Yellow-Eyes turned back to Pete and his hook began to glow white hot. It tackled Pete to the ground and pressed the hook to his face. Pete let out a scream in pain. Dark smoke began to spread all around him. There was a flash of light so bright that I had to cover my eyes. When the smoke dissolved, Pete was gone. His sword clattered to the concrete floor.

"PETE!" I screamed in terror. All those feelings that I had all pent up over the past month had finally snapped. I was outright furious and had every single rght to be. Yellow-Eyes turned back to me and still had that damn maniacal smile painted on its face. It picked up Pete's sword and swung at me. I ducked, grabbed the bass neck, and yanked it out of its hands.

Adrenaline began pulsing trough my veins. I tossed the axe aside and grasped the sword with both hands. It swung at me with the hook, but I blocked it with the blade. I flipped the blade and caght the hook, using the momentum to yank it forward and knee it right in the stab wound Pete left. Yellow-Eyes howled in pain and I kneed him again, and again, and again. It freed its hook and swung at me a few times. I ducked and caught it by the knees, sweeping it to te ground with a bone crunching *thunk* , I climbed on top of it and gripped the sword tight. I slammed the head of the bass to its head repeatedly until its face wasbloody and bruised. My clothes were covered in blood and so were my hands.

"Get out of my head." I growled, flipping the blade back so the edge as pressing against its throat.

It only grinned at me and spat blood in my face. "You think by destroying me this will all end?" Yellow-Eyes cackled, "Oh sweetie, I am only the beginning. You Youngloods better watch your back. For there is a war coming Riddell, and you better choose your sides fast. There is a bigger threat than just me, so watch your back."

"Well then you'll be one less fucking monster for me to deal with." I answered, flicking the blade with my wrist.

Blood splattered everywhere. I flipped the blade to the chest and began repeately stabbing it until I was coated in fresh, sticky blood. The adrenaline coursed through my veins, I felt mechanical, going through the motions.

"Get. Out. Of. My. HEAD!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, my whole body shaking and tears obscuring my vision.

Everything became a blur. The next thing I knew, I stood in a pool of blood over the remains of the demon once called Yellow-Eyes. A white aura was pulsing around me like a shield. I knew what I had to do.

I raised my hand to the remains of the demon. And with a snap of my fingers, the blood began to turn to smoke, wrapping itself around the body. I spoke one word, feeling the power course through my veins.

"Begone" I commanded the smoke. It twisted itself into a funnel and disappeared into the air.

The warehouse began to dissolve around me, encasing me in a white light. I felt a smile creep across my face and I began to laugh. I wasn't scared anymore. No more fear, no more running.

I was free.
