She just stared at the sky and wondered how the hell she got outside when it is clearly midnight. The colors that were filling the day were now converted into dullness of dark blue, black and white. Shadows were casted by the dim light of lampposts and only souls roam around with no sound or evidence of a breath. The rough made roads now dark and dangerous, for anyone to not realize any barrier during the way.

The night sky was very clear, no sign of stars except for the strange bright moon being the reason for the light. There was only the sound of Aronica's breathing and gulping, being loud for the cause of silence. She didn't mind it as everyday ends with Gemma's loud voice.

She actually daydreams how Gemma was with Harry, before she was taken in, before Harry was sent to the orphanage, before her parents even thought of sending him away. Was her heart calm? Was her voice sweet that adored every living being? Was her eyes only filled with roses and was her smile something that makes flowers grow?

Each night that ends with her lying on the grass on a plain field had always ended up with her thinking of these questions. More of them adds up and she could sleep to it, dreaming of her life with a caring and accepting Gemma. It makes her smile, have her eyes at rest and her fingers to lose the tension. She could only accept this, but for once did she hope for it to be real.

"Hey" she heard a feminine deep voice rose down to her ear, making her to sit up and squint her eyes to look at the lady.

"Hey...Deanne, what're you doin' here?" she had this confusion in her voice which was obvious to the lady standing but is now sitting, but that didn't stop her from giving a small smile.

"I'm pretty sure I'm in the same state as you, not being able to sleep and thinking too much. Warm enough?" she smiles too, and they sit closer now, feeling the friendship grow even more.

"Hm, yeah" Aronica replied, only looking ahead of her towards the wet grass below her feet, just not sure what else to say other than what happened that morning.

Then there was another break of sounds, silence as the current state with their eyes only gazing at anywhere. Aronica couldn't know what to say, her mind completely empty and suddenly she felt cold wind blowing her. She shivered slightly but then a fabric of blanket covered her back as well as her shoulders and arms. She smiled and cuddled up to Deanne, them both sharing the same blanket and she felt heat radiating, pushing away the coldness that was making its way to her.

"You can ask me. I know you were there with Harry" she says. "I mean I did acted weird and violent and kids were probably hearing my dangerous language but it's not like it could be helped. And your questions are maybe too. Warm?"

"Boiling" she says.

"No, that's not what I mean, stupid" Deanne laughed, nudging her arm lightly. "I didn't mean about the warmth, how you feeling now? You were probably uncomfortable"

"Nah, I feel okay" she shrugged.

"Good"

"What happened this morning, was it the reason behind the fact that you couldn't sleep? Or over thinking?" she finally asked, glad that it came out of her. Deanne didn't look surprised as she knew what was coming, and that even a person who don't give a damn to anything would even ask the same thing. She let it go though, just sighed and tried to answer calmly.

"It is honestly, I just, and I don't know when he would come back. I ran as far as I could, leaving him as my past but he still comes around like a damn shadow. I don't need a fucker like him anymore, and I'm sure he doesn't too but apparently that stupid mind of his says that he does bu- Sorry, I'm blabbering when I didn't even told you why" she chuckled.

"I'm guessing that he...used you?" Aronica didn't want to make things more bad as listening made her feel worse enough.

"Hot" she replied.

"I'm sorry, I never knew that and I told you to talk about it when you don't feel comfortable-"

"No, very cold. I needed to talk about it for once and you were there so I thought that maybe you can be my comforting friend" she smiles. Aronica never thought that would happen, she never knew that Deanne would want to even talk to her.

But she knew that it was too early to make assumptions.

"What about Harry? Why won't you want to talk about it to him?"

"I don't really know. It just doesn't feel the same, I would usually be telling him all these things but, my mind doesn't go to him when I need someone to talk to. I guess things changed but maybe I could work things out with him" she nods a little to herself, smiling.
