Aronica saw her today.

Bored, nervous, anxious. She had this small debate to herself whether or not should she walk towards Deanne and ask what her problem was. But probably it was some personal reason and that Deanne didn't know her for long to even be sharing secrets. They only met twice or once making them both acquaintances. Or probably normal strangers who would bump onto each other once in a while. However, it did look like she needed someone.

So she walked towards her.

"Hi" she spoke up through the thick silence that was waving in and out at the small space between them. She waited patiently and was about to lose hope until Deanne slowly raised her head, seeing her shyly asking for a space to sit. She lightly smiled and allowed her which made Aronica felt this huge sense of relief.

"Hey. Aronica right?" Her voice didn't sound good at all, hoarse, dry and emotionless. Her mood had shown everything but that didn't stop Aronica from raising a smile.

"Yeah. Glad you remembered" she lightly laughed, only to be seeing Deanne not returning one. She pressed her lips into a thin line, gulping hard that could make anyone notice. But not Deanne as she spaced out, looking like she was inspecting the small particles floating in the air.

"Are...you okay? You don't seem quite well" She knew this wasn't the right time to start a conversation as the tension grew thicker and uncomfortable. The place suddenly felt cold and breezy, with genuine sadness roaming around. Her mind was empty for once, and all she need was for Deanne to reply.

Which she thankfully did.

"He came back" she choked out. Aronica was obviously confused as she didn't even know who the 'he' was. Her head is suddenly adopting thousands of questions which she hates to happen but she found ways on how to overcome it.

"Who? Who's he?" Her hands went to push Deanne's hair behind her ear so she could see her side face which seemed like it was about to break. Her face fell as she knew she couldn't be able to do anything about it, minus the fact that she could go and call Harry to solve whatever this problem was. But she brought this among herself, and it is what she came to so running away to pass on the situation to someone might be the most selfish thing to do.

"He fucking apologized"

"What?" She frowned now, and all she could think of was Harry. But there was something that told her it wasn't true.

"He said he wanted me" her eyes were now a puddle of tears, lips trembling with fingers shaking. Her nose started to run and both of her hands palmed her face, covering the sight of it. Aronica was now looking at her sadly, wishing she could understand every word she spells out.

"I'm sure it's not Harry, right? " she bends down slowly and people could be watching them two now, wondering what in the world did the high ponytail girl do to the sad lady. She must've looked so lost, unsure of everything, of what she is supposed to do. But not until Deanne wiped her tears and looked up, removing her hands while spacing out. Her eyes were gazing away at the sky above as clouds collected up to form unusual shapes. But the sky still looked breathtaking as the clouds gave space for the sun rays to pass through. She sees Deanne smile a little making her to let out a breath.

"No, definitely no. He's a good guy and he wouldn't do anything to hurt me. Except for the time I left him"

Aronica smiled. She didn't know why, but hearing good things about Harry made her feel happy. Like she knew she could trust him. Because even though they haven't known each other for so long, he was a good companion. He saved her from leaving life, he comforted her when she lost her treasure, and he was there when she suffered. Thinking about the good things that might happen in the future between their friendship made her smile.
