Before leaving she went to the refrigerator only to find it almost empty, which she took a note on what to buy. Writing it down happened in a haste, her fingers not giving a single chance.

She sighed, seeing the amount of food left causing her head to ache and beg for more. It was like half of her heart was gone because food.

Who wouldn't even give a damn about it?

"Great, now they're going to think why a skinny girl eats way too much" she spoke, looking around and to find that she was the only sole there. Gemma probably thought of sleeping in, things she mostly did on every weekend and not bothering to raise her voice at the enemy. Aronica liked those days, peaceful and quiet and she could actually walk out without worries.

"I'm leavi-" she paused, realizing there was no need to note about her departure because no one cared, in fact, she didnt care. She can walk out of the house any fucking time and Gemma won't even mind. It was the opposite, she was eager for Aronica to leave.

The walk to the store was short and she was thankful for that because the wind started to be colder, encouraging the trees and grasses to dance throughout the same direction, like an unpracticed choreography. Nature was art, the things that make up nature were the tools and brushes and people were the color to give more life. It was only black and white but with hearts, with each beats it gives out colors to paint the empty canvas. And there were some hearts that destroys the picture, the cataclysmic and devastating ruins to break it apart.

Just like her day when she noticed him featureless, simply out of the world as he joined his hands with the pocket of his cleaned jeans, eyes looking like it would shut any moment. The sight couldn't make her remember what it was like to not have him this way. Yesterday was perfect, and then the label would have crashed and burned down if something happened last night.

Gemma wouldn't notice about her being late with the food anyways so she walked over to him, slow and hesitant steps till she reach him. It made her feel worse as he didn't even acknowledge her there.

"Hey" that was hard to bring out for her, even as he sighed and seemed to almost break down in front her. But he didn't and instead forced a small grin which she didn't take in as something to convince herself that he was okay. Because he wasn't, and she shouldn't be a reason for that.

"I don't think you can say you're okay because I'm not using that to leave you alone, if that is what you want" she added but still no words from him.

"Is it me? Did I do anything, because I can chan-"

"It's not, it's something else" he muttered and it broke her to hear him that way. The way he looked at her was almost unrecognizable and she knew it wasn't something she can do about much.

So she pulled him slightly into somewhere emptier, not in the opened space where the people who hated her walked past by. Especially when she had a friend with her.

He followed her silently, his face not to be seen as it faced the ground, while she tried hard to not give him an expression other than a smile. It was hard to stay that way because seeing him so down made everything simply dull.

"I'm not expecting your answer to be black and white since it looks hard for you to say it but indirect is good enough" she smiles, waiting for a new expression to bloom.

"Aronica, I thought happiness was an open door that anyone can just enter in but that was wrong. My vision is wrong" he started, looking at her like he can actually see what's inside her, her eyes being a glass that light just seem to transmit through and make it all bright.

He wondered if she happened to stay in the dark for so long too, he imagined her just staying happy through the blades and fires that only seem to appear each time a smile existed. But of course not, she was basically the sun that shone during his dull days and he hoped for it to stay that way.

"And in that door just lies terrific truths that people deny to, that I ignore to. That door seems to be opening wide every time I'm in contentment" he ended and she never even realized her hands were in the hold of his warm ones.

"Harry, happiness is for everyone. Even you, even for me. In fact, I find it mostly erupting from you" and that was when she got cut off.

That was when she felt a blazing feeling of his lips, of his hands keeping her cheeks shielded.

That was when she felt like a volcano exploding.
