Chapter 7

Squadroom 10:45am

"Why did she say no?" Maddison whispered

"Because she not baby." Olivia told her as she walked over to Elliot and took Maddison off his lap

"Liv don't." Elliot said standing after Olivia took her off of him

She shook her head and ignored him and walked to Samantha holding Maddison.

"You take her home. And never! Bring her back." Olivia told Samantha as she handed her daughter to her

"Liv I'm sorry." Samantha whispered

"Just go." She said sternly as she sat back down at her desk

"Mommy why?" Maddison whined as she sat in Samantha's arms

"Because." She signed and put her head in her hands and just sat there and ignored everyone.

"Just go." Elliot mouthed to Samantha and she nodded and started to leave but stopped when Maddison yelled.

"Mommy!" Maddison called out but her mom didn't answer.

Tears welled up in her blue ocean eyes. Her mother never ignored her not once. Even if she was busy she always had time for her daughter. She was always scared something was wrong every time she called out to her. So she never ignored her but maybe it was because she was in a police station or the fact she didn't want to talk to her but whatever it was Maddison still didn't know why she ignored her.

"Sorry." She whispered and put her head down on Samantha shoulder and cried silently and they walked out.

"Olivia." Elliot said sitting down next to her desk and waited for her to respond but got no answer

"Olivia." He said more louder

"What!" She yelled looking up at him with tears building up in her big brown eyes

"I'm sorry. For what Maureen said. For 5 years ago. For everything." He simply stated

"I don't care anymore." She said with her voice cracking

"Liv." Elliot whispered in so much sympathy

"You know she's going to Kathy right?" Olivia said

"I know." He signed

"This is a mess." Olivia said

"Liv. To be honest my marriage was failing antsy. After the misca-" Elliot said

"I was was meaning to ask you about that." Olivia said wiping her tears and sitting up straight

"Yeah. A few weeks after you left Kathy complain of pain in her back and stomach. She was only 6 months pregnant. We thought it was early labor but turns out he was dying." Elliot said as a lumped grew in his throat

"I'm so sorry." Olivia whispered

"That's where it went south. I wanted to try for another baby but Kathy....she had this idea that this was a sign for us to have no more kids. So we argued all the time, but we stayed together for the kids. Now we won't have a reason to stay together. The kids are gonna hate me." He said shaking his head

"Can't you talk to Kathy?" Olivia suggests

"I'm catholic and I cheated. She not gonna wanna talk." Elliot said twisted his wedding band around

"Everyone makes mistakes Elliot." Olivia told him

"Not a catholic married man." Elliot told her and she looked at him and rolled her eyes at what he said

Then Elliot's phone went off and he took it out of his pocket and looked down.

"It's Kathy." Elliot said

"What does it say?" Olivia asked

"To come the house." He read

"The house?" Olivia questioned

"Ours....hers." He said looking at her

Soooo! I know it's bad😩and I took so long to update but everyone got a life😛. Was it good? Should I show Elliot going to the house and talking to Kathy and the kids? RR!
