Chapter 17

Olivia's POV

It's been 2 weeks since Maddison met the rest of the Stabler family. Today was Maddison's birthday so Elliot, Fin and Munch was helping me set up the decorations. Samantha came over to take Maddison out this morning and the afternoon since she couldn't make it to the party tonight. At least that's what she says.

"Liv, where do you want this to go?" Elliot asked me as he and Fin was carry a white table.

"Near the banister." I said looking for Munch.

I found him on the latter putting up the pink and white streamers.

"Guys! It's 4:30 Maddison should be here in a hour and a half, the guest in an hour!" I told them looking for any finishing touches.

"We got it Liv." Elliot told me putting the cake in the refrigerator.

"Are you coming back Sam?" Maddison asked as she sat in the backseat of Samantha's car.

"I don't think so baby?" She said looking at the road as she drove.

"Why not? Daddy left." She told her.

"I know but me and Jason are happy and we want to live together." Samantha said

"Oh." She whispered sadly and looked out the window not saying another word to Samantha.

"Guys! The car just pulled up." Olivia said quickly to all the guest that was there.

"Come. Go behind the couch an turn off the lights." Elliot told them.

The door unlocked and they saw a little figure and a bigger one behind it.

"Surprise!" The crowed yelled out as Elliot switched on the lights.

Maddison eyes lit up and she bounced up and down looking at the princess theme living room.

"This for me?" She asked glancing at everything slowly

They all chuckled and Olivia walked over to her.

"Yeah it is baby." Olivia told her smiling

"Now let's go get into your dress." She told her grabbing her hand

"We will be right back!" She yelled as she made her way up the stairs.

Olivia's POV

We we're all having fun. Maddison the most, she was dancing around in her pink fluffy dress and her two pigtails. There was a side from Fin and Munch that I never saw. They we're actually having fun and enjoying being around kids.

I went in the kitchen to get more drinks for the adults and heard the bell ring. I walked over to the door and looked through the peep hole.

"Mike?" I whispered softly to myself

I slowly opened the door and stood there waiting for him to say something. He didn't he just stand there with a big box in his hand with a polo shirt that showed off his muscles and so loose jeans.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him

"You thought I would miss my daughter's birthday?" He asked me.
