He said something to them, they glanced over to me, and talked again, then glanced again over to me.

I was really sad. This was the best day of my life, and now it had ended. I had no home, I've got nowhere to go and I felt fear coming up again.

I couldn't just move in at Tory's - that was impossible.

Mike, Tre and Billie kept talking. I wiped some tears from my cheek, feeling pain all of a sudden.

Oh yeah, Mum hit me...

I couldn't move back to my adoptive Dad, because he didn't want to have any contact with me. I also didn't wanna go to some orphanage - some of those places are really creepy. Great, right?

I've heared about a girl like me once. She didn't have anywhere to go. I don't remeber what happened to her, but it wasn't a happy ending.

The three men came up to me.

"So your adoptive mum kicked you out?" Billie started. I nodded. "And you've got nowhere to go?" I nodded again. "Do you have a passport?" I nodded again. "So you're going with us."

My eyes nearly fell out of my head. "What?!"

"You're going with us. We like you, and we can't leave a homeless teenage girl all by herself," he continued. I started to cry out of happiness and hugged the fuck out of the three guys.

"But-" Mike continued. "-You've gotta tell us the whole story, okay?"

"Okay," I formed a smile. "Thank you," I said again.

"We better go to sleep. Tomorrow we set off to London in the morning," Billie said. "Liz, in whose room do you wanna stay?"

"If he doesn't bother, I'll pick Tre," I said with a smile. He smiled, too, and wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

The room was big. It had a giant bed in it and a giant sofa. Tre insisted that he sleep on the sofa, so I had to take the bed. But I wasn't sleepy at all. I got up and went to the bathroom. I sat down there, starting to cry. I felt so great but bad at the same time. Silently, I made my way back to the bed.

"Liz, you still awake?" Tre asked.

"Yeah. Sorry if I woke you up."

"No big deal. You've been through some rough shit right?" he said. Even if it was dark, I could feel that he looked at me. "Liz, who punched you in the face that bad?" He turned on a little lamp. Tears started again running down my cheeks.

"My mum," I whispered. "She knocked me out because of some call from school. The next morning I found a message saying that she didn't want me around anymore, so I left," I said. Tre came over, hugging me. I must've whimpered, because he looked at me a bit confused.

"Did I-?"

"No, it's not your fault," I said. Then I took my vest off and lifted my shirt a bit, so he could see all the bruises my Mum has given me, and the little scars from the cuts I'd done to myself.

Tre looked shocked. Really shocked.

"Oh Liz...." he said, hugging me again. I started to cry my soul out. He kept an arm around me, patting my back, as I told him about all the families I'd been at.

"I was with a Polish family for a few months. They were really nice and had two other adopted kids. But then something happened and they had to go back to Poland. I'm still in touch with them," I smiled a bit and let myself be taken away by the good memories.

"You deserve something better, Liz. You deserve something way better," I rested againgst his shoulder and fell after some time to sleep.

The next morning Mike and Billie came in to wake us up.

"Awe, isn't that sweet?" I could hear Mike say. "Oh God, Billie, look at her poor arms..." he said, as I opened my eyes.
