Before I realized that I haven't got my vest on, they already saw my scars.

I could feel them looking at my scars. I could feel the growing tension, that nobody wanted to asked about them.

"Joey told you why I freaked out?" I asked them. They nodded.

"You broke her nose," Ryan said, glancing at my arms.

"Ok guys, ask me whatever you wanna, but please, please stop staring at my arms. Just go ask ahead. It's not that we're complete strangers," I sat down on my sofa. It's an old one and Billie and Adie wanted to get me new one, but I liked it anyways. The others sat down somewhere too and started to ask me about my past. As soon as I finished telling them what they wanted to hear, I could hear the front door smash and someone screaming:

"DONUT PRINKLES AND UNICORN SHIT!" I had to laugh and the others exchanged weird looks.

"I want you guys meet some close friends of mine, I said, leading them out of the room down into the living room to find Tre and Jake having a really hard and cool pillow fight. Abbey nearly fell to the ground when she saw him.

"Tre?"

"Lassie!" he ran towards me, hugging me again tightly.

"Tre. Oxygen. Again. Need," I managed to say. "Meet my friends, Ryan, Lara, Emma, John and Abbey," he exchanged high fives with them and said weird things. "You stay for dinner?"

"FOOD!" he screamed. We all took this as a 'yes' and went back into my room.

"Damn, this drawings are good!" Abbey screamed as she looked through all of my sketch-pads. The others looked through my paintings to pick the best ones out.

"I set 10$ that this is gonna be sold at the next exhibition of your Mum's Gallery," Lara turned to Abbey.

"Lara, I think you should stop setting money on everything that's possible, like Barney Stinson," I said, looking with Emma through my closet as the boys played my guitars.

"I think this is perfect!" she pulled a black shirt with a white sprayed-on rose I made a few years ago and black skinnies.

"Yeah, that looks great!", Abbey and Lara agreed. I sighted and went into the bathroom and changed.

"Ok, I think we should get down. My Mum's gonne be here soon," Abbey said. We nodded and went into the kitchen. Abbey, of course, nearly passed out when she met Mike and Billie.

"Hey kiddo. Nervous?" Mike came over to me.

"Yeah."

"Don't be scared, my Mum won't kill you. Especially not after she sees your drawings and paintings," Abbey tried to calm me down. Mike nodded along.

Finally the doorbell rang. Adie went to open the door.

"Adrienne?"

"Jenny?"

"Oh my god, it's so good to see you again!" They both hugged and smiled over the whole face. We all echanged lookes.

"Since when are Adie and your Mum friends?" I whispered over to her. She shrugged with her shoulders. They two came over to the rest of us.

"Guys, let me introduce Jennifer to you. We've been really good friends in highschool," Adie said.

After dinner we went up to my room, to show Jenny my paintings and drawings.

"Wow. I see daily a lot of good pictures. But these, these are-" she kneeled in front of one. "These are perfect. These ones speak," her voice got filled with a bit of sadness. Bille put his arm around my shoulder.

"I want to show them in my Gallery. There's gonna be in two weeks a little evening event, for the new pictures. I want to have your paintings in there as well," she said with a little enthusiasm in her voice. My eyes widened.

"R-Really? You want m-my paintings in y-your Gallery?"

"Yes, of course! You've got talent. A lot of it!" she looked around. Tre and Abbey cheered at the same time. I did too. They all congratulated me. I couldn't believe it.

After Jake's birthday, my birthday came. I was lucky; some pipes in the school broke and they gave us the week off.

"Oh my god, tomorrow's the Gallery Evening," I said, as we headed into the music room.

"Yeah, but today's your birthday," a familiar voice said behind me.

"Tory?!"

"Liz?! C'mere! You're turning fucking sixteen! And having you're paintings shown at a gallery. Be proud of you!" she screamed, hugging me tightly.

"Guys, this is Tory. We're best friends since, ahhmm, I think the first day we met. Tory, this are-"

"Save it, Liz. We've got to know each other yesterday. It was really hard to convince Billie Joe that we should get her from the airport. Especially because we nearly had to lock up Abbey, so she won't fangirl all the time," Lara explained to me. When we moved down into the kitchen, a big cake suprised me. It's been a great evening.

The next day I was practically sleeping until sunset. Not. Jake and Joey woke me somewhen around sunrise.

"Get ready, Lassie. We have big plans," Jake said, while Joey took my pillows from under my head.

"What the hell's wrong with you?" I said, throwing my blanket after them.

"Ok, so tell me, what are your 'big plans' for today?" I said, pouring the fourth cup of coffee.

"First, gimme that coffee. You've had enough. Second, we gonna ubduct you and take to some places. It's a suprise."

"Wow. I can't wait," I said as unmotivated as possible.

When we got into the van, we met Tory, Cole, Max and Travis inside.

The guys took me somewhere to the beach and took some guitars out.

"Ok, first part of our suprise: Beach, fire, guitars, guys, music. That's something you always wanted to do, right?" Joey smiled at me and gave me my guitar.

"I love you guys..." I said as I started to strum along with Cole and Tory. At noon they took me shopping. Records stores, Hot Topic, food. And in the late afternoon they covered my eyes and led me somewhere into a bar.

"Part three of our suprise: Your first gig!" Tory said and led me onto the mini stage.

"What?! Are you stupid guys? I can't just go up there an sing!" I said in complete shock. They all rolled their eyes. Cole took the microphone;

"Ahm, hey guys. We've got some very special friend with us, but she thinks, she can't just come up here and sing - and this girl's got talent; she even sang with Green Day on stage," he said. The people were laughing. I went up on the mini stage and started to play. I even didn't really think what I should play, it just came out of me.

After I finished, the people clapped. Cole, Max and Travis had wide eyes; they never heard me sing before - they just trusted Joey.

"Ok, and now we should get going to see your Art being presented!" Jake shouted, as we ran to the van.
