FUN... GETS ANOTHER MEANING

I woke up the next morning with the thoughts in my head: 'You need to have some fun' 'You're very serious'.
Those words stuck in my head. It's been 3 years that I have been focusing on getting over this hurt Bryan caused me. I forgot what it's like to have some fun.
I got out of bed and took a shower. I put on a overall and boots. I brushed my teeth, dried my hair and put some make up on.
I went to the living room. Jake woke up and came in with just his boxers. Boi he had one great body.

Jen: "Good morning."
Jake: "Morning. Why are you dressed like that?"
Jen: "Cause you think I'm not fun. And now I'm gonna show you how much fun I can be."
Jake: "Should I be scared?"
Jen giggles "No."
"Do you have any old clothes?"
Jake: "No. Why?"
Jen: "We're going paint balling."
Jake: "What do you mean?"
Jen: "We're going to throw each other with balloons that has paint in them."
Jake: "Ok. Sounds like fun."
Jen: "It is."
Jake: "So what got into you?"
Jen: "I've put some thought into about what you said. And I just thought since you're here and I have some time off. I can show that I'm not always serious."
Jake: "And you care about what I think?"
In my thoughts- I sort of do
Jen: "Well I just thought while you're here I can show you all the fun things in Sanders. So you won't think of this as just a small town."
Jake thinks in his thoughts (She cares about what I think.) "Well I like the fact that you thought about this."
Jen: "Let me go check if I have any overalls here."

I left and went to check in my uncle's boxes that was still here for overalls and found one. It was orange and it look like a prison outfit. And I went back to the living room and handed Jake the overalls.

Jen: "Here you go."
Jake: "Thanks."

Jake went and changed and came back.
I started laughing.

Jen: "You look good."
Jake: "Why are you laughing?"
Jen: "Cause orange is not your colour."
Jake: "I feel like I'm going to jail."
Jen laughs "Looks that way too. You would make a great prisoner."
Jake: "Oh really?"
Jen giggles "Yes."
Jake: "Thanks for that one."
Jen: "Shall we go?"
Jake: "Yes."

So we went and paint balling. Till late afternoon. We went home and we both were covered in paint.

Jen: "That was so fun."
Jake: "Yes it was."
Jen: "Well I'm gonna get cleaned up. The paint is getting sticky."
Jake: "Me too."

We both went to get cleaned up.

*Back in the living room*

Jen: "So do you wanna go get something to eat?"
Jake: "Don't you ever cook?"
Jen: "Normally I don't have the time for it. And I'm also not good at it either."
Jake: "I know what you mean with never having time for it."
Jen: "Give me a small surgeon knife and I'll know exactly what to do. But give me a knife in the kitchen then I'm clueless. I can't cook. But my sister can. She's a great cook."
Jake: "Then I guess we will get something to eat."
Jen: "And maybe watch a movie if you want to."
Jake: "What movie?"
Jen: "You tell me. I have 3 here. 7th avenue, love palace or speak up."
Jake thought to himself ("A movie I play in. Interesting.")"Well it depends what you're in the mood for. 7th avenue is a comedy. Love palace is a romance and speak up is an action."
Jen: "Speak up it is then. I'm in the mood for some action."

We went to get some food and came home and sat on the couch and watch the movie.

Jen: "That was a great movie. You're truly talented."
Jake: "Thank you. I'm glad you like it."
Jen: "I'm gonna get some sleep. Night. Oh and wear something warm tomorrow."
Jake: "Why?"
Jen: "We're going gliding."
Jake: "Gliding? What's that?"
Jen: "It's a small, long sleek plane. That's being attached to a propeller. When we're in the air the glider gets released and then it starts gliding. You'll see when we get there. It's super fun."
Jake: "Isn't it dangerous?"
Jen: "Not at all. We both will be in one and the pilots take care of everything."
Jake: "Ok. See you in the morning. Night."
Jen: "Night."

* The next morning*
We both woke up and got dressed and met in the living room.

Jen: "Are you ready to go?"
Jake: "Uh... Yeah..."
Jen: "Are you nervous?"
Jake: "No..."
Jen: "You'll be fine I promise."

*at the flying place*

Jen: "Lets go then."
Jake: "Wait a minute."
Jen: "Are you sure you're not nervous?"
Jake: "I am nervous."
Jen laughs "You are?"
Jake: "And you're laughing again."
Jen: "Aren't you suppose to be used to this? You're an actor?"
Jake: "This is kinda different."
Jen: "Jake. Just relax. You'll be fine. Just trust me."
Jake: "Ok."

*after the gliding*

Jen: "Whoo hoo. That was so fun. I can do that again. So how was it?"
Jake: "You were right. That was really fun."
Jen: "I told you. That was so much fun. " talks all excited.
Jake: "Looks like you enjoyed it."
Jen: "The adrenaline is pumping through me now."
Jake: "I can see that."
Jen: "Sorry it's been a long time since I've done that."
Jake: "No please continue. It's nice to see you this way. It's cute."
Jen: "Are you flirting with me?"
Jake: "No just complimenting you."
Jen: "Well in that case. Compliment away." giggles.
Jake: "So how long has it been?"
Jen: "7 years."
Jake: "That's a long time."
Jen: "I last came here with Adam."
Jake: "Oh."
Jen: "Lets get something to eat. I'm starving."
Jake: "Ok."

*at home*

Jen: "So we're going karaoke tonight at the bar."
Jake: "Karaoke?"
Jen: "Every Wednesday night is karaoke at the bar."
Jake: "Will you sing?"
Jen: "Maybe. But my sister will. She loves karaoke nights."
Jake: "And you?"
Jen: "I just go for her. I don't really like going out."
Jake: "Because of Adam and Olivia."
Jen: "Adam mostly. It doesn't bother me that they are together anymore. Adam made his choice. I'm gonna go get ready. Meet you in here in an hour."
Jake: "Ok."
