I got the internship!

I went back to the living room. And Jake and Ethan stares at me.

"Are you ok?"

"Oh I'm perfect. I'm wonderful. Great. I just got off the phone with L.A. hospital."

"What do you mean?"

"I've applied to a Trauma internship. And they just approved it. I'm starting in 2 weeks."

"Are you serious?"

"Yes I am." 

He picks me up and hugs me. 

"This is amazing baby."

"Yes. No more white coat for me. Hello internship again."

"Are you ready for this?"

"Oh yes I am. I can't wait to start. Well I got a lot to do before then. Like I guess I need to sell the house. And get a place in L.A. and sell my office. There's a lot to do."

"You don't need to find a place in L.A. you can stay with me. And you will get everything done before then. Or you can just rent it out and keep it."

"I can't stay with you. And I can rent the house out and make Toby 60% partner."

"Why can't you stay with me?"

"I don't know."

"We stayed together in this house for a month. Baby will you move in with me?"

"I will. Yes."

I pulls me closer and he kisses me.

"Thank you."

I giggled.

"Congrats Jen."

"Oh you're still here. I forgot for a second you were." 

Ethan laughs and Jake too. 

"Sorry. We should probably continue."

"I can help you with setting up the papers for Toby and the house. If you want me to?"

"That will help yes. Thank you Ethan."

"We'll do it after the trial."

"Ok."

"This is so awesome."

"I'm glad you decided to this."

"I am too. I want to jump up and down right now."

"I guess you are ready to prepare for the trial now?"

"Yes totally." 

"Ok then lets get this over with."

3 hours later Ethan and I went through everything and prepared for the trial.

"Gosh. That's a lot to remember."

"Don't worry. I'll be there."

"I'm not worried."

"Good. Meet me at 8 in front of court. Then we can go through this again."

"Ok. Thank you Ethan."

"No problem. See you tomorrow."

He greeted both Jake and I and he leaves.

Jake pulls me into a hug and he holds me close.

"Do you know how proud I am of you for taking this step."

"I can imagine." I chuckled. "Ever since you came into my life. You changed it. You turned my world around. I've over come my fears. I went back to L.A. I faced Bryan. And now I'm going to be a Trauma surgeon. Or try to be one. I first have to pass the internship. My life has changed for the better. Thank you."

"You don't have to thank me. You did this all by yourself. You just needed someone to remind you what your capable of."

"I couldn't have done this without you. I love you for that and for everything else."

"I love you more."

He kisses me.

"We should get some sleep."

"Lets go away this weekend."

"Oh where do you wanna go?"

"Seattle. To my parents."

"Oh... You want me to meet your parents?"

"You said you wanted to. So do you want to meet my parents?"

"Yeah."

"I'll call my sister too and ask her to come visit too."

"Yeah I owe her an apology."

"You don't. I already explained everything to her."

"Still I was all weird with her when she was here."

"So do you want to go?"

"Yes. Of course."

"Then I will let them know we are coming."

"And then I have to come back and do my things to move to L.A. with you."

"Yes you do Ms. Steele."

"We really need to get some sleep."

"Lets go Ms. Steele."
