Why did I faint?

Jake's pov:

Toby just came out of the hospital room where he took Jen in. Ethan, Adam and I were waiting outside. When I saw him I got up and went to him. 

"Is she okay?"

"Yes. She's okay. What happened?"

"Olivia told her the truth about everything. She tried to be strong but I could see it was hurting her."

"She went into shock again. But that's not the only reason she fainted. I get this was a lot for her to take in. But can I talk to Jake alone?" He says looking at Adam and Ethan. They both nod and leave.

"Is everything okay?"

"Nothing serious. Has she been complaining about dizziness or nauseousness or something like that?"

"She has yes. Why?"

"She's pregnant."

"How? She is on birth control."

"It sometimes happens. Some woman do get pregnant while being on birth control. This news will be a lot for her to handle too. So she's really going to need you."

"I'm not leaving her Toby. I love her. I know it wasn't part of the plan for now but it's okay. I'll always be with her no matter what."

"Then congrats it is then. I'm glad you feel this way. She has been through enough."

"Why am I here?" both Toby and I look up and saw Jen standing there confused, looking at both of us.

"Who said you can get up?" Toby ask her.

"I'm a doctor too Toby. I know what to do. So why am I here? Did Olivia try to kill me?"

"She did wish you were dead but no you passed out."

"So I hear Olivia went all crazy on you tonight?"

She sighs and looks down.

"I don't want to talk about it." she says. She looks up and shook her head. "I passed out? Again?"

"Princess there's something you should know."

"What?"

I look at Toby and he smiles at me.

"You're pregnant."

"What? No that can't be. I'm on birth control."

"You are pregnant. You're 3 weeks now." Toby says.

"No that's impossible Toby."

"It sometimes happens that woman gets pregnant being on birth control."

"And of course I'll be one of those woman." she said sighing. 

I went to her and hugged her.

"It will be okay princess. We'll figure this out."

"You can still do everything you planned to do Jen. You just have to take things slower now."

"It's too soon." she lets me go and she looks down.

I could see in her eyes she is a bit scared. 

"Let me give you some privacy." Toby says and I nod at him. 

He leaves and I took her hands in mine. She looks up at me and she sighs.

"Everything will be okay. I'll be there with you every step of the way. I promise you. Yeah it is a bit soon I agree. But it's okay. It just means that our plans have to be rearranged a bit. Not a big deal for us. I thought I almost lost you a few minutes ago. And I promised you I'll never leave you. I'm planning on keeping that promise to you. I love you and I'm staying."

She nods and she hugs me tight and I hugged her back. 

"I love you charming."

"I love you more princess."

 "Jen it's your sister." Ethan interrupts us. 

She lets me go and take the phone.

"El." she says answering the phone. And I could hear her.

"Are you okay? I just got this feeling that something happened. Are you in the hospital?"

"I am but I'm okay. I'm... Um... Pregnant."

"Awww.... Congrats. Max she's pregnant."

"Thanks...."

"Why are you so down?"

"Well Olivia...." she told El the story and El was so mad she yelled over the phone. Jen holds the phone away from her ear and El kept on going with the yelling.

"Wow she's mad." 

"Jen I'm coming there first thing in the morning." El said and Jen puts the phone near her ear again.

"No El. Please El don't do this." 

El went off and she told Jen she is coming after Olivia. She hanged up and Jen tried calling again. El just kept saying she is coming and Jen is not stopping her. Making Jen panic.

"Give me the phone."

She gives me the phone and I put it in my pocket.

"Leave your worries for me now. You're pregnant and you need to stay calm now. And don't argue with me."

She nods and she sighs. 

"We probably should get a place to stay for the night."

"You can stay with me." Ethan says.

"Ethan I'm sorry about Olivia. I knew she was cheating on you since you told me how bad things are going. I just hoped that it's not true."

"It's okay Jen. I guess we all saw her true colors tonight."

We all nod.

"Ethan thanks for the offer but princess you know your uncle would appreciate it if we stay there for the night."

"Then I will need my phone."

I nod at her and took her phone out. She calls her uncle and they agreed that we can stay there tonight. She hangs up and give me her phone again. 

"We'll see you tomorrow then." Adam says.

"We'll call you in the morning." I said shaking his hand.

"Bye." Jen says.

We both left.
