Ash's POV
'Thanks
for driving me home Johnny.' I said, giving him a smile. 'No problem!
See you tomorrow at practise?' He asked. 'Denfinetly.' I giggled. 'Bye!'
I shouted and waved to him as he drive off. Johnny is so sweet... I
gasped and mentally smacked myself. 'Come on Ash, don't let your stupid
teenage hormones get the better of you.' I scolded myself.

Johnny's POV
I
sighed. It's been so much quieter lately. My Dad, he's no longer here at
home with me, and there was another year until he can get out of jail. I
just feel so lonely... I shook the depressing thoughts out of my mind
and headed to the shower. While I was showering, my thoughts averted to
Ash. She's a good friend, has that edge and punk rocker attitude. She's
cute too. Wait what? Ugh come on Johnny you are not thinking of her like
that. I just scrubed my hair faster to get the thoughts of her out of
my mind. Why do I have to think of these sort of things? I sighed, and
focused on getting myself clean.
Ash's POV
This
house. It's so much quieter... Wish I had some company... I sighed and
changed into my pajamas. I was about to hop into bed and end the day
when suddenly... I heard knocking. Grunting, I headed to the door and
was about to open it when I heard that dreaded voice. 'Ash! Ash are you
in there?' Lance banged on the door while shouting. Even though I said I
wanted company, I didn't mean his company! And not around this time
too! My anger flared up and I just stomped my way back to bed. I tried
to sleep, but that stubborn Lance just kept banging my door. I tried
everything to keep the sound out but nothing worked. Only until about 3
in the goddamn morning did he stop. And I had to get up at 7....

'I'm
not coming back no more, I'm over, I'm over, I don't care if you tell
your mother, I'm over, I'm over you...' I finished the last part of my
song. I looked down at all the others and they were just giving me these
weird expressions. Buster was the one who spoke up. 'Err.. Ahem, Ash,
is something bothering you?' He asked. 'No, why would I be *yawn*
bothered?' I lied. 'Never mind.... Rosita! Gunter! You're next.' Buster
called out. I got off the stage and while doing so, almost fell down the
steps when coming down. I rubbed my eyes and still found that my
vision was still a little blurry. When I got down the steps, I had to
resist yet another yawn. I saw an empty seat beside Johnny so I drowsily
made my way there and sat next to him. 'Ash, you don't look OK, I know
something's wrong, can you please tell me?' Johnny said comfotingly.
Since me and Johnny were two seats away from the others, I figured that
telling him the truth won't be so bad. 'It's.... It's Lance. He kept
banging and shouting at my door until 3 in the morning and I couldn't
get any sleep at all.' I said, rubbing my eyes. 'No wonder... ' Johnny
said worriedly. 'Well, can you stay awake for me? After Rosita and
Gunter I'm next. I'm also the last act so it wouldn't take long OK?'
Johnny asked. I simply nodded my head and watched the rest of the
performance. When it was Johnny's turn, his soothing voice just made me
want to sleep even more. It's like hearing an angle sing.
*short time skip*
After
Johnny was finished with his song, people can easily mistake me for a
zombie for Pete's sake. My eyelids were dropping as if weights were
pulling it down. My body felt limp and exhausted and can't even muster
up the energy to clap for Johnny even if I really wanted to. I was
slipping in and out of consciousness and when I talked, I slurred like a
drunk animal. I noticed Johnny coming down and sitting beside me,
giving me side glances from time to time. 'Alright everybody, good work
today.' Buster said, eyeing me worridly. 'So now, you are all
dismissed.' He finished. Just when he finished his last words, I
couldn't hold back the urge anymore, I gave in to my tiredness and fell
asleep.
