Johnny's POV
Today's the first day of practise.... I feel quite uncomfortable, because Meena is Melissa and I have to kiss her at the end. I was actually hoping that Ash would have the role of Melissa, since she's my crush. Yep, I have a crush on her. She'll probably reject me, because she just got out of a painful relationship, and probably don't want to be in one or have another crush in years. It's not like I'll fess up to her or anything like that. Besides, what Buster said was true, but I just wish Melissa was Ash. I drove my way to the theater while going through over my lines again. +
Ash's POV
I was in a subway, heading towards the theater. I found a seat and went up to rest my feet. Come on Ash, don't let your jealousy get the better of you.
*once everybody arrives at the theater*
'OK guys! Who's ready for practise?' We all cheered and took our places on stage. For the first day of practise we weren't using any props or costumes, we just needed to act and say our lines then we're done for the day.
*skipping the practise because I'm so lazy. 😅😂 and also to get to the exciting part faster.*
So we all acted, and now it was the kissing scene. It was visibly a very hesitant one and it was quite awkward.
Johnny's POV
Oh no, now's the time I have to kiss Meena... Come on Johnny just quickly kiss her on the lips and go! It's not show time so it does not have to be an actual kiss. So, with a lot of hesitation, I quickly pressed my lips against Meena's and backed away. The both of us were blushing like mad, and the theater was in very awkward silence.
Ash's POV
They kissed... I felt jealousy again. I knew I couldn't keep it in for long so I ran into one of the glass practise rooms. I sighed and slumped down on the floor. I started singing Demi Lovato's heart attack to calm me down. 2
Johnny's POV
OK, that's done and now everything's awkward. 'OK, well done everyone! Let's get all of you to get up on stage shall we?' Buster instructed. Everyone that was backstage came out, but Ash was nowhere to be seen. 'Wait, where's Ash?' Buster realized that Ash had gone missing and now was going backstage to find her. I got off stage to help find Ash and didn't know where the heck she was until I heard singing from one if the glass practise rooms. I recognised that song as heart attack by Demi Lovato and wondered why Ash was her singing that song instead of getting up stage like the others. I opened the door leading to where she was, and guessed she didn't notice me because she jumped back when she saw me. 'Oh hi Johnny.' She said with a nervous laugh. 'Hi Ash... Is umm.. something wrong?' I asked as I sat down next to her. 'Wrong? Why would anything be wrong? I'm perfectly fine!' She said with that nervous laugh again. She must have noticed from the expression on my face that I'm not buying what she said and she sighed. 'I... I Don't want to talk about it....' She said glumly, turning her head away from me. I knew it was useless to pursude her to tell me what's wrong, and I didn't want to force her, so I just shrugged and told her that Buster wanted her up stage with the others. A nod was all I was given before I stepped out of the practise room. I sighed and dusted myself, before returning up on stage.
