Bruce woke up in a drunken haze. They constantly kept him sedated with strong mixes of alcohol and tranquilizers. Not the most creative method but surely an effective one. His hands were bound my chain, and he was on his knees with feet strapped to the floor. Bruce forced himself to pull his head up and observe his surroundings. The room was dark and empty made from stone slabs. The scent of mold and blood hung heavily in the air. Bruce's arms ached from being held up constantly, his knees were scraped skinless. He tried to recall the recent events which took place, but his mind was blank almost as if it had been wiped clean.

Bruce drew heavy sharp heavy breathes due to his multiple broken ribs. He evaluated his injuries and concluded an escape would be near impossible especially with them keeping him sedated. He has also evaluated he was in a cell in some sort of holding facility. For several minutes he tried desperately to remember what happened but couldn't grasp anything. Suddenly the door to his cell opened and a man in a league of assassins uniform stepped in. The man was large with harsh grey eyes and a dark complexion.

Clark touched down behind his just outside of metropolis. He opened the back door to see his wife Lois sitting at the table with someone he didn't expect.

"Diana?" Clark asked surprised. Diana or Wonder women as she has been known as throughout the years was sitting at his dining table dressed in casual wear talking to his wife.

"Oh, hello Clark." Diana said startled. Lois stood up and kissed Clark on the lips.

"Any luck sweetheart?" She asked hopefully.

"No, nothing." He said while looking at Diana skeptically. He didn't know why she'd be here unless she was waiting for him and judge if from the half empty glasses of wine and her choice of clothing she wasn't here for that.

"Umm, sorry I hope my presence isn't uncalled for. I'd hate to impose on you."

"No, of coarse not Diana, your always welcome here. I'm just a little surprised too see you since the last time we saw each-other you told the justice league that you were going to stay on Themyscera till your inauguration as queen."

"Yes, but I've decided that the current matter is well.... more of importance."

"I see.... Well your welcome to stay and we can discuss the matter." Clark said awkwardly.

"Umm perhaps for a little bit, if it's no bother to you of coarse?"

"Of coarse not. Just let me change into more comfortable attire and I'll be back in a jiffy." Clark exclaimed. Clark walked down his hallway to his door.

"Pssst" Clark turned around to see his son John peeking from out the door.

"Hey there bud." Clark said happily.

"Is uncle Bruce still missing?" He asked sadly.

"Yah buddy, wait a minute how do you know about that?" Clark asked confused. He didn't tell John about Bruce missing well because john had a tendency to overreact. John was only eleven and is as paranoid as a possum. John pointed to his ear gesturing to his super hearing." What did I tell you about using your abilities to eavesdrop on people's business?"

"People's privacy need to be respected and focus on anything else besides them if you have to." He said sighing and sarcastic. Clark gave him a hard, stern stare to let him know to quit his attitude.
