Damian sat in a chair next to Bruce's bedside while Alfred tended to him. Damian read his book quietly while his father rested. Him being mysteriously kidnapped then suddenly showing up on the radar so blatantly made Damian anxious. Whoever did this was trying to send a message.

Damian had metaphorically searched the globe. His kid napping left no trails, no leads, no hints to who had taken him. It looked like just an ordinary robbery, but it was unlikely some unexpierenced thugs could have taken him so easily. Damian spent hours in the batcave studying files from criminal organizations. All of batmans knowledge upon his enemies. None of the clues matched up, most of batmans enemies were psychopaths and would have made it obvious who had taken them just to mock batmans friend and allies. Damian sat in the chair next to the cave exhausted from lack of sleep. A hand gently squeezed his shoulder.

"It seems we don't have anymore options." Raven said dully.

"There's always an option, there's something I'm missing. You shouldn't do it unless I ask you too."

"It's something I'm willing to do not just for him, but for you." Rachel stated in a sad tone.

"My father wouldn't want you too do something that could cause you to suffer for his well being."

"And you?"

"I'm trying to follow his example more closely." Damian said exhaling.

"Ok, I won't do anything for now, but you need rest. You haven't slept in three days we'll need you once your father is found." Rachel said sympathetically. Damian looked at her offended.

"I can't sleep while my father is out there probably being for..."

"Azeroth zenthose!" Rachel said interrupting him. Damian fell asleep mid speech and his head slammed into the keyboard on the bat computer. Raven suppressed a giggle. Damian snored loudly, which for him was unusual. Raven hardly slept, she didn't need to thanks to her demon biology so she spent slot of the time at night watching her friends and loved ones dreams. Damian however was always a mystery to her. Much like his father his dreams revolved around his hero occupation.

There was never no fear, excitement, anger just cold hard thinking and calculation. Damian exhaled heavily almost as if he was relieved. Raven peeked inside of his subconscious and found herself in Damian's dream. Damian was sparing with several faceless warriors striking hem down one after the other. After he defeated the last drone he looked up at a balcony wear his father, mother, and grandfather all looked down at him nodding their heads in approval. Damian felt accomplished and prideful.

The scene switched to a bedroom. It was completely dark. Raven stood at the corner of the room in Damian's dreams looking at two dark figures sitting at the edge of the bed. One was clearly him, but the other was a girl. Raven walked around the bed and looked at her face. She was shocked to see it was her. Damian and the Rachel from his dream began kissing passionately. Raven watched them closely, feeling either anxiety or excitement. The Rachel from Damian's dram lifted up his shirt. Rachel could feel Damian's emotion, arousal and doubt washed over him. He was happy but he doubted himself, like it's something he wanted so bad but didn't know how  to do it.

Raven watched herself nervous about whether or not Damian's version of her would make any mistakes. As they began ripping each others clothes off the scene shifted to another room. The room was vacant except for Damian and a large man on the floor. Rachel looked closer and saw that the man was Bruce. He was nude and severely bruised and cut all over his body. His life drained from him, once again raven felt Damian's emotion. Despair, guilt, and anger. All of them were so strong Rachel felt terrified like they were consuming her. Damian stood up, and began growing till he was the size of a full grown man. He turned around faced Rachel with bloodshot eyes dual wielding pistols.

Raven woke up back behind the Damian scared. His mom, his grandfather, and now his father. If Bruce died Damian would go mad, becoming a sick psychopath. Raven couldn't let that happen, but at the same time she remembered his second dream.

"Master Rachel?" A voice said from behind. Rachel jumped around scared.

"Oh hey Alfred you scared me."

"Are you okay?" Alfred asked.

"I'm fine, just a little worried. What about you I couldn't begin to imagine what your going through." Rachel said sympathetically.

"Huh master Bruce has gone missing before, I try not to worry but I can't help but wonder if I'm going to be raising another young member of the Wayne family." Alfred sighed.

"Alfred can I ask you something?"

"Of coarse."

"What was Bruce like when he lost his parents?"

"Obviously distraught as you would imagine, but there was something off about him. I could see madness creeping in on him but I was able to steer him away."

"What about Damian? What do you see in him."

"Are you concerned about what Damian will become of master Bruce fails to return?" Alfred said. Rachel nodded in agreement.

"I would like to think master Damian would honor his fathers memory, or hopefully learn from him and try to live a normal life. Either way he will need you, I come to be quite fond of you Rachel. I only wish master Bruce would have found someone like you." He said walking away. Rachel smiled and looked back and Damian. She kissed the side of his head and let him sleep. Alfred walked back upstairs into the mansion.

He grabbed a book off the shelf and opened it. It was a scrapbook of Bruce in his youth with Thomas and Martha. In all of the photos they looked happy, it's seemed so long since anyone is Wayne manor felt true joy. Alfred shed a tear as he saw a picture of him and Bruce.

"I need to retire." He told himself. The doorbell rang yanking Alfred's attention from the book. He closed it and put it back on the shelf. He opened the door to find Bruce injured and dying. Alfred let out a loud scream. BRUUUUCCCCEEEEE!

A/N I know it's been awhile but hey it's hard making this stuff up
