Rachel attended her first class of the day and she began realizing why people hated school so much. It was an hour of non stop lecture of things she could easily learned on the Internet in a fourth of the time. The bell rang and she hurried to her locker and grabbed the books for her next class. Everywhere she looked Rachel saw unique personalities, from very kind intelligent people to overly obnoxious rude hoodlums. Everyone put they're own twist in the school uniform, for example the prissy over privileged attractive girls added shades of pink and glitter.

The rap enthusiast decorated theirs with snap backs and Jordan sneakers. The kids with the darker personality added in shades of black. Rachel clenched her books to her chest as she paced quickly to class. She heard footsteps following her, she began slowing her pace as she realized the person was trying to catch up to her. A boy about her age grazed her shoulder and looked at her through his peripherals. He was certainly handsome from his chiseled jaw to his lean body and perfect hair. Rachel knew this boy must have been quite physically appealing for most women but she could read his salty demeanor.

"Hey there." The boy said smoothly.

"Hi." Rachel said nonchalant.

"I'm Marcus, may I ask for your name."

"Rachel!" She stated plainly.

"What class are you going to?"

"I have physics in a few minutes."

"Cool, me to."

"Ok."

"Is something wrong?" The boy asked confused.

"Nope, everything's fine."

"Oh ok, well can I walk with you."

"If you want to!" She stated plainly. The boy followed her trying in vain to start a conversation. He seemed kind of nice but Raven knew his type. She didn't have to infiltrate his mind to know what this boy was intending to do. He appeared very kind natured and well measured. Rachel tried not pay attention him any attention but he kept pestering her.

"So where are you from?"

"Hell."

"Oh you mean like Hell's Kitchen?"

"Yah sure."she remarked.

"So why did you move to Gotham?"

"I had some friends down here."

"Are they as good looking as you?" Rachel rolled her eyes at the childish comment."Come on, I'm just joking. Nobody's as good looking as you."

"Look, Ima go into class and unless you want my boyfriend to separate all your joints then I suggest you keep your distance kapeesh?"

"Oh really, who's your boyfriend?" Rachel got a sudden shock as she didn't realize what she said. The words just kinda rolled of her tongue without any thought.

"Uhhhhh uhhhhh that's none of your buisness." Raven said nervously.

"I'm interested to know to know who the lucky son of a bitch is." He said smirking

"You should probably just give up." Rachel said walking into her class.  The boy followed her into her class and sat down next to her. Rachel felt like banishing him to the seventh layer of hell. Rachel not only had social anxiety but she didn't trust people. Everyone in world is out for they're own personal gain, which paints a target on your back. If someone sees you as an equal or a superior they'll do they're best to undercut you to gain an edge in they're selfish goals.

The boy was relatively quiet thought class besides a few subtle flirty nudges and winks. At the very least she wished she could summon a swarm of locust to consume him but Rachel knew she was on thin ice. Even a slight slip up would result in her withdrawal of school and isolation in the teen titans tower. She didn't necessarily mind it though, Rachel enjoyed her friends company and even if they weren't there she still had her best friend, loneliness! Raven cherished her alone time, her time of solitude and silence gave her time to think and contemplate.

Damien had trouble socializing with people, he found himself walking the halls with his headphones in without any music on. They just helped drown out the chatter that surrounded him. He never attended school before so he soon got an adept understanding of people's hatred for it. His irritation had grown to an all time high as his tolerance grew low. The constant chatter and giggles made him angry. He walked by a group of girls who chuckled as he walked past them. One girl in particular caught his attention. A beautiful Caucasian girl with bright blonde hair and a sleek figure blushed as Damien looked at her and he blushed as well.

The girl was a little bit shorter than him and she appeared about a year older than himself. However she seemed much older with her ample breast and defined features. Damien looked away and kept walking.

"Hey!" The girl called running after him. Her voice was sweet and feminine. Damien turned around to face her as she caught her breathe from running after him.

"May I help you?" Damien asked nonchalant.

"What's your name?" She asked between breaths.

"Damien Wayne."

"Wayne? You wouldn't happened to be related to Bruce Wayne would you?"

"Yah, he's my father."

"What no way, your like the richest kid in Gotham."

"Uhh yah I guess." Damien said rubbing the back of his neck.

"I'm Hannah." She said holding out her hand. Damien turned around and began walking to his class again. The girl caught up next to him and cleared his throat."So how come I've never seen you here before."

"I went to boarding school."

"Why did you decide to come here?"

"Because my dad wanted me to."

"What's your dad like, aside from gorgeous?" She asked sweetly. Damien gave her a hard stare of absolute disgust. Hannah flinched as if Damien was going to strike her."uh sorry did I offend you?" Damien inhaled deeply through his nose letting his anger melt. He tried his best to tolerate normal people but he found it extraordinarily difficult with each one he meets.

"My dad tries." He admitted." He spent the majority of his life being raised by the family butler so he tries his best to be a good parent."

"Oh what happened to your grandparents?" Damien walked away without saying a word. He decided he didn't like normal people.
