CHAPTER 12

When I woke up my head was throbbing. It hurt so bad I wanted to cry.

I got out of my bed and went to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror and I looked like complete shit. My hair was all over the place and I had drool on my face too. God I looked like a train wreck. I turned on the shower and before I got in I had to brush my teeth and stuff. When I was ready to get in I stripped to my bra and panties. I was about to take them off when Alex walked in.

“Oh hey…. Umm, have you uh seen the toothbrush I keep around here?” he asked so casually.

“Umm get the fuck out!!!” I shouted

“Why?”

“Because I’m fucking naked.”

“You’re in your bra and panties its like when you where your bikinis because its “cute”. What’s the difference here?”

“Just shut the hell up and get the fuck out Alexander Roman!!!!” I had to say his whole name so he would know I was serious.

“Alright I’m going.” He threw his hands in the air and backed out of the bathroom. I slammed the door in his face and took off my under garments and got in the shower. After my 45 minute shower, I towel dried my hair and I wrapped the towel around me. My hair was still damp and all my hair stuff was on my dresser because that’s where I normally did my hair. I walked in my room and everyone was huddled in my room. My brother, my sister, Alex and Jake all sitting I’m my room watching teen wolf together.

“Why the hell are all of you in my room?” I asked, clearly irritated.

“Wow sky nice body.” Jake commented trying to be funny.

“Get the hell out!!!” god what was with everyone surrounding in my room. They sat there for a few seconds looking at me like I was crazy.”Uugh you people are so fucking annoying.” I said before trying to pull Jake and Alex by their arms. I pulled and pulled and put in all my effort but neither of them budged. They just sat there laughing.

“Sky you really are weak.” Alex said before getting up and randomly kissing me. Jake stood up and did the same. Ok what is going on none of this makes sense. I’m so confused, why am I being kissed by my best friends.

“What’s wrong sky don’t you love us?” Jake asked. And right before I could answer I woke up.  A dream? That’s what that was? I’m so confused. A dream, seriously? I sat up in my bed and looked around. I looked outside, it was still dark out. I looked over to see Sonya on the other end of the bed sleeping.  I crawled out the bed and walked to the door next to my room. I peeked in to see if my brother was up, but he was sleep. I walked in the living room and saw that Alex and Jake were still on the couch but they weren’t sleep they were sitting there talking, until I came in the room.

“Hey princess, are you sober yet?” Jake asked. I averted my gaze to the ground. I can’t even look them in the eyes right now.

“Yea, I’m fine now.” I responded.

“Hey do you guys want to sneak out?” Jake asked.

“Where in the hell would we go at this time of night?” Alex gave Jake the most serious face ever. I have to admit it was so freaking cute.

“I know a few people who will give us some Kush for free. They stay out after dark.” He answered.

“And we’re supposed to be taking sky with us? No absolutely not. Are you on crack? First of all, those guys stay on the bad side of town and sky can’t defend herself and I’m not a babysitter. I’m can’t watch sky like she’s two anymore.” Alex said.

“Anymore?” I questioned.

“I have always been by your side protecting you since we were 3.” He responded.

“I was there too. I protected sky too.” Jake commented.

“You didn’t come along until a year later.” Alex retorted.

“Yea I remember those years. It was before my parents got divorced and my mom started drinking. Oh, do you remember when we first met Jake, Alex?” I asked

“Yea, he was crying like a little bitch.” Alex laughed.

“Dude, I was 4 and a fell down and scrapped my knee.” Jake said irritated.

“Sky was always sweet. When we met I was a little prick but sky always hung around me. I was mean to her but if someone else were mean to her I’d beat em up.” Alex said laughing.

I walked over to the couch Alex was laying on and laid next to him. I snuggled under him and he put an arm around me.  I was mad blushing luckily because of my dark skin you couldn’t tell in the dim light. If the lights were on my cheeks would have a purplish tint like bruise or something.

“I remember when you in that one kid you used to really like hade a playground wedding. You two gave each other ring pops as wedding rings and when he shared his ringpop with another girl the very next day, you were so pissed. Jake, remember that?” Alex asked Jake.

“Yea dude I remember. I also remember you being mad jealous because you liked sky in elementary school.” Jake responded. I laughed at the comment.

“You did too dude, so shut up.” Alex retorted angrily.

“Ladies don’t fight everyone loves me.” I said jokingly.

We continued to stroll down memory lane until about 9 in the morning. I could feel myself dosing off and I tried to fight it but in the end I lost and fell asleep in Alex’s warm arms.

Alex’s P.O.V

Sky had finally fallen asleep. She had lain in my arms last night. When she snuggled against me it just felt……… right, I guess.

“Alex I have something to tell you. And you might not like it.” Jake spoke.

“what, dude?”
