Like most wild canines, the Golden Jackal lives with its mate. After they managed to catch prey, they will often shake like a ragdoll. Large packs are rare but have been seen 10-30 members. The previous litters will often stay with their parents to help raise the next generation. Regions like North Tanzania and the Serengeti Plain and the dry or rainy seasons will determine the color of it's coat like pale gold during the dry season and brown-tipped yellow in the wet season.
