Lives: South America in Orinoco and Amazon river.

Diet: Fish, Young: 1

Unlike most dolphins, they are solitary and have a short learning period and are weaned early. Amazon river Dolphins are also called Boto and are pink in dirty water while in clear water their skin is a dark gray. Young is mostly born at high tide which is JUne through August. A female may be pregnant again while have one that is still suckling. Males can breed when their 6 ft long and females are naturally smaller.
