Hell Week

Days pass and the three new incomers seemed to really get in my nerves especially Renji and Rangiku (Toshiro excluded). After finding out that I have this weakness against cats, they suddenly became cat lovers.

There are times when Renji would sneak behind me wearing a cat mask and whispers my name in my ear. Or Rangiku would sneak that black cat of theirs in school and let it roam around the class. Toshiro, on the other hand, starts to behave properly.

But there is this one incident that I will NEVER FORGIVE! Rangiku made me and Byakuya bet on a pop quiz. The loser will do anything the winner will ask. I was confident enough that i'll get higher score than Byakuya. I was already thinking of a punishment for him but nothing seem to come up. To my surprise.........

I lost the bet.

"You will be my cat." Byakuya said and headed bak to his seat nd i have to say 'meow' every time I end a conversation with him. I saw Uryuu and Ichigo protest. I even heard Tatsuki slammed her hand on the table. The rest of the class giggled. They seem too eager to see me wear a cute facial expression.

It must have been my imagination, but I swear I saw Byakuya smirk. it looks like he was enjoying the punishment he gave me.

I grew tired with the new incomers and ignore them ever since. I distanced myself to Renji, I let Rangiku pass all the violations she make cause Toshiro scolds her secretly and I never talked to Byakuya.

"Oi, Michiko, you have duties to the three of them. Why do seem distant to them." Rangiku asked out of boredom. "So, our class representative is also a slacker..." Rangiku teased. "Matsumoto-sensei, they aren't 5 year olds to be monitored every second." I protested. "Oh well, great news for everyone." She said rocking her chair back and forth. The boys seemed to be entertained to see her chest bounce. "The principal approved Michiko's proposal to change the destinations of our trip next week." She continued and everyone in class went wild. Some were throwing papers, others were praising me, the were stomping their feet and me, I glared to each and everyone of them telling them to act properly. They seemed to get the look I'm giving them. "I also would like to inform everyone that you will be by pair the whole period of our class trip." she added and everyone became hesitant on how to react. Rangiku were calling names and their pairs. I was praying that I would be paired up with anyone except the 2 goons. I'm referring to Byakuya and Renji. My name was announced and there you have it my partner, no other than....

"Byakuya Kuchiki." Rangiku said and it  feels like her voice was echoing inside my head and she was swriling along with it. Where are the gods when you need them the moooooooooooost?!

That will be one hell of a trip. I'm so excited. I tried to boost myself up but it seem like it's not working.

Byakuya leaned toward me from behind my chair. "Seems like were going to have fun. Eh, Ne-ko-cha-an?" He teased me and I realized that everyone heard everything especially when he called me "Neko-chan". I heard them whisper and murmur and even giggle.

"Michiko-kun!" A boy from my class called. "We're rooting for you and Byakuya!" He shouted and everyone seemed to rejoice while I remain FROZEN. It seems like I have my own world now.

Damn, can't they do anything right just for once? Why can't they consider my feelings? I thought and sulked at my table. I saw Inoue and Ichigo look my way worrying. I flashed them a grin to show that I'm alright.

Classes ended and I found myself being accompanied by Ichigo. "Oi, Michiko. Don't tell me they're getting in to you." I looked at Ichigo with a sad expression. It was a little exaggerated but he knew well that it was an honest look. "You look like a pig when you pout like that." Ichigo continued and tired of Byakuya and Renji, I just gave him a big sigh. "I wish Nii-san was here tho." I exclaimed. "Come to think of it. We've been friends for a long time but I haven't met your brother not even once." Ichigo informed and that was also the time that I realize it was true. None of my friends knew what my brother looks like.
