Chapter 3

Olivia felt like the world was lifted off her shoulders. Noah continued to talk to Jesse. Everything felt right. This is what family was.

After they finished Noah helped clean up the dishes and headed back upstairs with Jesse.

"I really hoped he tells me." Olivia said.

"Maybe you can tell him what you told me?" Amanda smiled.

"He loves Tucker. I don't know if I can tell him." Olivia said.

"You are going to have to tell him someday." Amanda smiled.

"I know." Olivia said.

After hours of talking it was starting to get late. "I should get Noah home." Olivia smiled.

"Alright if anything changes let us know." Amanda smiled.

"I will." Olivia said.

Noah came downstairs. Saying their goodbyes they got into Olivia's car and left.

The ride home was quiet. Noah didn't say much. Once home Noah went to his room. Olivia sighed. Pouring a glass of wine she sat down on the couch. Taking a sip she thought about Alex.

Olivia dozed off dreaming about Alex. Her blonde hair. Her gorgeous eyes. Her smile. Olivia jolted awake as the knocking on the door startled her.

"I'm coming." Olivia said groggy as she went to the door.

There standing on the other side of her door was Tucker.

"Tuck what are you doing here?" Olivia stepped back allowing him to come in.

"What's going on with us? You told me to give you space so I did." Tucker said.

" I know. It's just this isn't for us. I'm holding you back. I can't be happy when I'm not." Olivia sighed.

"I'm sorry." Tucker said as he gave Olivia a hug. "I will go but I hope you tell me what's been bothering you."

"Someday you'll know." Olivia said as she closed her eyes.

Tucker left shutting the door behind him. Olivia went into the kitchen and made breakfast. Noah came down the stairs.

"Mom who was here?" Noah asked as he rubbed his eyes.

"Tucker." Olivia sighed.

"Did you two break up?" Noah asked.

"Yes we did." Olivia said.
"Eggs and bacon?"

"Sure. Why?" Noah asked.

"We want different things." Olivia said.

Olivia finished up breakfast as she sat down with Noah.

"Do you want to tell me who Alex is?" Noah asked.

"Where did you hear that name from?" Olivia asked.

"You said it in your sleep. I came down to get a drink and you said Alex." Noah said.

"Alex's is a friend of mine. We lost touch. It was work related." Olivia said.

"I'm sorry mom." Noah said.

"Don't be sorry." Olivia smiled as she took a sip of orange juice.

"I can tell it hurt you. I didn't mean anything by it." Noah said.

"I know baby." Olivia said.

"I really want to tell you what was said but I can't bring myself to tell you." Noah sighed.

"It's okay I understand. It's whenever you want to tell me." Olivia smiled trying to ease her son's mind.

Finishing up breakfast Olivia went and got a shower while Noah cleaned up the dishes. Once out of the shower Olivia got dressed and headed to work.

Half way there her phone rang. "Benson." Olivia said into the phone.

No answer. Olivia looked at the caller ID to see it was a blocked number.

"Anyone there." Olivia said again.

This time there was a click and the line went dead. By the time Olivia got to work Finn was standing going over the last case.

"Young boy Theo was taken from his home. His mother Kat Nickols is a prime suspect right now." Finn cleared his throat.

"Go bring her in." Olivia ordered Finn and Carisi. "Amanda can I talk to you a moment."

The guys left and Amanda followed Olivia into her office.

"What's going on Liv?" Amanda asked.

"I officially called it off with Tucker. Noah took it rather well. But that's not my concern. I got a call this morning on my way in from a blocked number. When I answered it no one responded. It was silence. Then they hung up." Olivia said.

"Could've been a wrong number. Or someone lost service." Amanda said.

"Maybe. I guess I was hoping it could've been Alex." Olivia picked up the picture of Alex. "She would love you."

"As I'm sure she would love you." Amanda smiled. "There's something I want to tell you."

"What's that?" Olivia smiled.

"I'm pregnant again." Amanda smiled.

"A baby Carisi." Olivia smiled. "Congratulations! Does Nick know yet?"

"No I haven't told him yet. I wanted to make sure I was pregnant before I did." Amanda smiled. "I was hoping you could watch Jesse for a little bit so I can tell Nick in a romantic way."

"I would love to and I'm sure Noah would like that too." Olivia said.

"Thanks Liv." Amanda said as she gave her a hug.

"You're welcome." Olivia smiled.

Walking back out Finn was standing there with Carisi. "She's in the interrogation room Liv." Finn said.

Olivia went with Finn to the interrogation room. A woman was sitting there her hands folded together.

"My lifestyle has nothing to do with why Theo went missing." Kat spoke.

"Lifestyle?" Olivia raised her eyebrows.

"Yes. I host swinger party's for couples." Kat stated.

"What about Theo's dad?" Olivia asked.

"It was a sperm donor my ex wife and I chose who it would be." Kat said.

"Who's your ex wife? We will have to talk to her." Olivia said.

"Lyndsay Nash. She's the principal at the high school." Kat closed her eyes.
