Olivia went inside to find that Avery was sitting on the couch. He was a handsome young man and he reminded her of Alex. Sighing Olivia knew she was thinking too much into this since Alex has been on her mind lately.

"Hey Avery." Olivia said.

"Hi." Avery smiled.

"So Jesse huh?" Olivia sat down next to him.

"Yeah." Avery blushed.

"So what brings you here?" Olivia asked.

"College. I'm looking at different ones around the area." Avery said.

"Does your mom know your here?" Olivia asked.

"Yes. She drove me to the airport." Avery said.

"That's nice. I would be worried about letting Noah go some place alone." Olivia said.

"I know self defense." Avery smiled. "My mom had me take classes."

"That's good." Olivia smiled. "So where did Jesse go anyways?"

"She went to get her parents. She wants me to meet them." Avery bit his lower lip.

"Are you worried about that?" Olivia asked.

"Of course I am." Avery said.

"Her parents will love you. As long as you treat their daughter right." Olivia smiled.

"I will that's not a problem. I really like her a lot." Avery smiled.

"That's good. I'm sure she likes you too." Olivia said.

"Can I ask you something?" Avery asked.

"Sure. What?" Olivia asked.

"Jesse is going to ask her parents. So I figured that I would ask you but would she be able to spend the night?" Avery asked.

"Of course I wouldn't mind as long as her parents are okay with it." Olivia said. "Of course the two of you wouldn't be able to sleep in the same room."

"I know that. She was just going to take me around to the colleges." Avery said.

Just then Avery's phone rang. He looked to see that it was his Mom calling. He stood up. "Excuse me." He walked to the kitchen as he answered the phone.

"Hey Mom." Avery said.

"How was your flight?" Alex asked.

"It was good. I need to be honest with you." Avery said.

"I know you took the letter." Alex said.

Avery swallowed. "Yes...."

"Don't lose that." Alex said.

"I won't Mom. Why didn't you tell me about her?" Avery asked.

"It's not easy. I had to leave her behind. I never got to tell her how I felt. It's why things with your Father didn't really work out. He can't accept you." Alex sighed.

"I know Mom. There's orientation next week at the college for parents. I was just going to stay here until then and just have you come up if that will be okay?" Avery said.

"Alright. Will you need me to send you some money?" Alex asked.

"No not right now. I should be alright. I also kinda meet someone. Someone that I was talking to online." Avery said.

"Who?" Alex asked.

"Her name is Jesse. She's actually really sweet Mom. You're going to like her. She knows about me being transgender and is fully accepting. I want you to meet her which is why I also want you to come next week. I can give you more details when I find them out." Avery said.
