Today i'm going to share 2 short stories based on true events. I will not expose the name of my hostel for the sake of the school's reputation.
Ok the first one is based on what happened to one girl a few years before i joined the school. The most famous story around the college.
1) The 'Singer'
Let's call her Iman. One night Iman was having trouble sleeping. All her other roommates are sound asleep. Her bed is located right at the end of the room. There are 4 bed in every dorm. All of a sudden, she felt goosebumps all over her body. Then she heard 'someone' singing something like this :
"Walking, walking at night..bed number one is already asleep. Walking, walking at night..bed number two is already asleep. Walking, walking at night..bed number three is also asleep. Walking, walking at night..bed number four is pretending to sleep.."
She just ignored it and forced herself to sleep even though she knows the thing is very near her. That's all i know from her case. No idea what exactly happened to Iman but what we know is that she experienced the same thing for a few nights in a row. But whatever happened to her is beyond words because we seldom hear the unnatural singing...
2) The 'Salaam'
Well this happened to me. One afternoon, i was alone in my room doing homework while my roommates were still having classes on. Halfway through, i hear someone said the 'Salaam' and i returned the 'Salaam'. They say if you hear 'someone' said the 'Salaam' to you but you couldn't see who is it, ignore it.
"Oh my lord! Why did i go return the Salaam", i whispered to myself.
I got up and slowly opened the door. There was no one outside my room and the whole corridor is empty. At night, i told one of my room mate about it.
"Why did you return the Salaam?? They say if you did, something bad will happen to you at night!" my friend warned me.
That night, i couldn't sleep thinking about it. Suddenly, i heard a knock. It knocked a few times but i just ignore it. Luckily for me, it didn't come to attack me. I know my story isn't as scary as the first one but that taught me a huge lesson.
