Chapter 56

*Kai's P.O.V*

After their conversation, they came back into the room and both of them had a smile on their faces. The doctor had a bigger smile than Mommy.

"Oh chucks. I forgot to tell you my name." The doctor said and ran back up to my side. "My name is Dr. Zoë and you're Kai, correct? Of course I'm correct! I knew you since you were born." (If you know where that last name came from, I'll love you forever!) I was very confused to what this woman in front of me was saying and I was also having mixed emotions towards her. (Me but I have mixed emotions towards school and my crush...) "But ANYWAYS...Baby, me, you and the other doctors are gonna have some fun after you eat lunch. In the meantime, if anything bad happens or you feel sick, press this botton and I will be here as fast as you can say 'Levi Is My Husband'. M'kay dear?" I nodded, confused. After all of that, I just wanted to cry. I just wanted to sit in a small space and cry since I didn't understand a thing she said. Soon later, she was our of my room and an old lady with a trolly came in.

"Here you go." The old woman said, placing a try of food before me. There was Mac N Cheese with a chocolate chip cookie and salade beside it. There was also apple Juice beside the salade. (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!! SCROLL DOWN AND READ THE AN IS YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY IT'S SO IMPORTANT!!) Even though I hate hospital food, they obviously can't mess up macaroni and cheese. Even tho this one looks like stale. But, I'm not leaving this hospital with a empty stomach. I took my plastic fork and took a scoop of the food. I place the food in my mouth and started chewing, immediately regretting my decision on putting that foul thing in my mouth. I started spitting out the food in my mouth and opened my juice box, taking a sip of the juice box. Even the juice tasted nasty! And this is one of the reasons I'm losing faith in humanity. I begged Mommy for water and she gave me a cup filled with water. I drank it down and the bad taste was gone.

"Are you OK?" Mommy asked.

"They almost killed my taste buds Mommy. Do you think I'm ok?" I said and raised an eyebrow. Now, there was still one thing that didn't fail me, and that was the cookie. I actually prayed for this to be good as I reached out for the cookie. I took a small bite out of the cookie and chewed it. JESUS CHRIST ON A BIKE RIDING TO MASS!! I'm having mixed emotions about this and I don't like it. It tastes good and bad at the same time, but I kept on eating it. (You better start taking notes. Never trust hospital/airplane food.) Being done with the food itself, I pressed the botton Dr. Zoë gave me and I was about to say 'Levi Is My Husband' but she was already here. She wasn't lying when she said she was gonna be here before I could say 'Levi Is My Husband'.

"Yes love? How may I help you?" She asked.

"I'm done everything." Dr. Zoë looked back to my plate and it looked like I haven't eaten anything.

"You sure Kai?" Dr. Zoë said with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes because it donest taste good." Dr. Zoë started to rub her chin. It looked like she was thinking deep and hard about something. A few seconds later, it looked like a light bulb went off in her head. She left the room the came back with a bowl of rice and beef stew. Since she's a doctor, I gotta trust her. I took the bowl out of her hand, unsure if it's poisoned. I took the fork and ate a spoonful. I didn't stop there, it was actually good. The food was actually good. I kept on eating and she looked donw on me with a big smirk on her face.

"Now are you done everything?" I nodded to the doctor's question. "Good. Now come with me and let's have some fun." I slowly got off the bed and followed her to wherever we were going. We ended up in a white room with a single table and chair in the middle and there were cards on the table. "Ok Kai. Now, all I want you to do is play with the cards. Play any card game you want," Dr. Zoë said while leading me up to the table. "And if anything goes worng, press the red botton here. Ok?" I looked back to her and nodded. I went over to the chair and climbed on top of it ad took the deck on cards. I started to shuffle the cards like I was playing poker and started to play speed with myself. All of a sudden, memories of the accident came flooding back to me and it started hurting my head. I suddenly remember the shocked looked on Ahsely's Mommy when she was stabbed with a kinfe and I remember when Ashley went crazy when she was killing those men. My head started to hurt like crazy and I reached over to press the botton on the table. Then, Dr. Zoë came in with two other doctors behind her. "Get the girl." She said with a poker face on. The two doctor then came over to me and grabbed my by my arms and lifted me up.

"Let go of me. You're hurting me!" I pleaded. They didn't listen, but they did take me out of the room into another. A sugery room. They placed me on a table and put a needle in me while I was struggling. I didn't stop screaming to let go until I started to fall asleep. In 2 minutes time, I was asleep.

*Kai's Mom's P.O.V*

I watched them take Kai into a different room while she was calling out for me and for them to let go of her. I really didn't want this to happen, but it will only do her good. When Kai's screams started to die down, I started to get worried and I ran up to Dr. Zoë.

"What's happening to my daughter? What are they doing to her? !" I asked in a panicked voice. Dr. Zoë put her hand on my shiner and looked me dead in my eyes with a small smile on her face.

"Tina, babe, clam down. The doctors are taking her to sugery to take a part out of the brain that's linked to the accident. That's all. You don't need you worry your little pretty self. Kai is in good care." She said as her smile became bigger. I was still unsure if I want this to happen to my baby girl, but if it's for the best, I can't stop them. I do want Kai to forget all about what happened, but is sugery the best idea? I let out a shaky breath and walked back to Kai's room and sat down to the chair I was sitting in before. I just part for my baby girl to be safe.

(AN: Ok. I'm actually tied between two worlds. Sold I make a sequel for this book? Or just fit everything I have for this book in one? And I was originally planned for there to be a sequel and how to end this book, but then again, it would take a long time for me to make that sequel. That's why, I'm leaving it up to y'all. What do you think I should do? Fit it all into one book, or make a another book? And once again, sorry for the filler, but very important chapters. But ANYWAYS
