Chapter 58

*Kai's P.O.V*

Since then, I was able to see Ashley from now on. Only with and adult and since Mommy had to go to work, Dr. Zoë took me to the mental hospital. Today was the seventh day I get to see her and Dr. Zoë gave me some clothes to wear after I took a shower. It was pink shorts with a black top and my black sweater. As I was putting on the clothes after applying lotion to my body, a knock came from the door.

"Yes?" I answered and quickly put on my top.

"Kai baby? Are you done?" I heard Mommy's lovely voice say. Instantl, I opened the door and gave my mother a hug. I haven't seen her in seven days but Dr. Zoë says she's comes when I'm sleeping and leaves before I wake up.

"Hi Mommy." I said.

"Hey baby. Are you ready to go?" I nodded and looked over Mommy's shoulder to see Dr. Zoë standing at the entrance. I gave her a thumbs up and she nodded. I released from the hug and we went over to the doctor who was now sitting in the passenger's seat.

"Oi. Can we first stop at McDonald's? I'm hungry." Dr. Zoë asked Mommy.

"Sure. Kai, do you want anything?"

"Just a mango smoothie and fries. That's all." I repiled. We headed off to McDonald's, Dr. Zoë got what she wanted, Mommy got what she wanted and I got what I wanted. We sat down in the fast food joint to eat and we eat, making some jokes while at it. 15 minutes later, we were off to the mental hospital. We went up to the front desk, grabbed our visitors badges and went up to B57. I ran over to Ashley's room and knocked on the clear glass. Since she was facing the other way, she truned around and smiled at me when she saw my face. She came crawling to me and I crouched down to her level. She looked different from the day we first met her. She looks like a human now. She started to take a shower and change her clothes since her "sanity" started to come back. That's what the doctor said, but I'm really happy for her on not giving up.

"Hey Ashley." I said and smiled.

"Hi Kai. What took you guys so long?" She questioned. "I thought you guys weren't coming."

"We just stopped to get some food. That's all." I said. "So now, what do you have in mind?"

"I mean, there's noting else to do except for my test, but guess what?" She said with a smirk.

"What?" I guessed.

"I belive this is gonna be my last test before I get to leave. Which means, I'm a day closer to getting out!" She jumped out in joy.

"That's amazing!" I said and my smile only became bigger. "Anyways, can I watch you do you testes?"

"Well, when they happen, yes. Bug until then, we have to go to the cafeteria since I haven't had lunch yet." She said and led me to the cafeteria. We looked around the whole room. Everyone was in the same white clothing and they looked very pale. They actually looked like they wanted to die. Some were playing card while some were talking to other and everything seemed normal. I don't know why those stupid doctors keep people who are actually ok in here. Is there really a clear reason for that? For example, Ashley. She is perfectly fine, yet she's still in here. I don't understand society anymore. (Me too Kai. I don't understand society anymore either...) Sighing, I walked up with Ashley so she could go get her food.
