Chapter 25

November 25th

Justin gets changed into http://www.polyvore.com/untitled_481/set?id=94714359. He leaves with his mom and drives to Selena's funeral. He gets out of his car and spots Olivia and Josh. He goes over to them. Olivia wears http://www.polyvore.com/untitled_482/set?id=94715225. She stands next to James. 

"Hey," Justin says as he tries to keep himself together. He hugs Josh and Olivia. He then takes his seat.

Ashley makes her way through the people. She wears http://www.polyvore.com/untitled_483/set?id=94715965. Vanessa walks next to her. 

"You ready?" Vanessa asks her. Vanessa wears http://www.polyvore.com/untitled_484/set?id=94717106. 

"What happened to your arm?" Vanessa asks her. Ashley's arm is bandaged up. 

"I sprained it," she says. Demi and Caitlin walk over to them. 

"This is wired," Demi says.

 "What do you mean?" Vanessa asks. 

"Just a few months ago we were going to homecoming with Selena and now we're attending her funeral."

Caitlin sneaks away from the group. She notices Justin standing by the casket. She walks over to him. She wears http://www.polyvore.com/untitled_486/set?id=94719213. 

"You okay?" she asks Justin. He has tears in his eyes. He looks up from the casket.

 "No," he says. 

"Me neither," she says. 

"Who would do this to her? I mean whoever killed her obviously hated her," she says.

 "I think you know who did this," he snaps. 

"What do you mean?" 

"You killed her," he snaps. 

"What makes you think I would do that?" she asks. 

"10 days ago I found out you were a suspect and then 5 days later police find Selena's body. It makes sense, you killed her so you could have me," he says bluntly. Caitlin looks to him with disbelief.

"Justin, I did not kill Selena. She was one of my best friends. I can't believe you would even think that I would do this, you know me. I would never do this to anyone, let alone my friend. And if you don't believe me, I will help you find Selena's killer," she says.

 "You'd do that?" She nods her head. 

"I'm sorry for accusing you. I just don't understand why someone would do this to her. And I'm going to find out who did this to her, even if it's the last thing I do."

The funeral starts. A priest says a few words then Olivia takes the stands. 

"People say that sisters are like best friends. And Selena was my best friend. Back in Texas, I didn't have many friends and Selena was the one person I could come to. I watched her grow up in front of my eyes. I watched her make friends, kiss her first boyfriend, win dance competitions, and fall in love. I'm going to be honest here, it really isn't fair that she will never go to prom, or graduate, or get married, or go to college, or have kids. I don't understand how someone could be so selfish to take my sister away from me. I will not move on or find peace until I know her killer is locked up. But I can't change what happened, but what we can do is make sure her memory lives on."
