Chapter 12

Selena's POV;

I arrive at the competition with Justin and the dance team by my side. Once in the dressing room, I change into http://www.polyvore.com/selenas_dance_competition_outfit/set?id=80121623. I walk out of the dressing room and Justin stands in front of me.
"You look beautiful," he tells me. I smile.
"You're going to do amazing out there," he says.
"Thanks," I say as I kiss his lips. I practice my dance one last time before it's my time to perform.

"You're on next," my dance teacher tells me. I nod my head and I walk over to the stage.
"I gotta go to my seat," Justin says. I nod my head. "Good luck," he says as he kisses my lips. We pull away from the kiss and he disappears into the crowd.
"Here to perform Your Song is Selena," the announcer says. I walk out onto the stage and spot Justin in the audience.

The music starts and I begin my dance. I listen to the music as I dance along. I finish my dance and listen to the announcer as I walk off stage. "That performance was dedicated to Selena's boyfriend, Justin." I watch Justin smile wide as he claps for me. I go over to him in the audience and he hugs me. "That was incredible, I love you baby," he says as he hugs me then kisses my cheek. All eyes are on us but I don't care. I would do anything for him. I've fallen in love for the first and only time in my life. Nothing could be more perfect.

It's now time for the awards. I sit down with my team members. We all hold hands as the announcer is about to say who won the solo division.
"And first place goes to entry number 3232." I look at my number and realize that it's me. I get up and accept my award. Once the awards are finished I walk off stage to see Justin with a huge grin on his face. I run over to him and jump into his arms. I then kiss his lips with more passion than before. He kisses back with even more passion.
"You'll always be my winner," he whispers into my ear. I smile and kiss him once more.

I walk into my house and see Olivia in the kitchen.
"How was the competition?" she asks me.
"Good, I won first place for my solo," I tell her.
"Congrats," she says.
"How was your day?" I ask her. "Good," she says. I've always been the more girly and outgoing one of the two of us. Olivia is more about school and being studious.
