Monday

The rest of the weekend was so depressing that I’m actually glad about going back to school on Monday. I missed Miley, honestly it really sucks not having your best friend around.

We have a class together fortunately, the whole time she didn’t even turn to look at me mostly because of what happened. The teacher, Miss something, who taught history was going around the class handing out our homework. I watched Miley pick hers up and examined it. The bell rang and Miss something was saying some shit about when it’s due and crap but most of the class was already leaving.

I watched Miley collect her things and when she was about to get up this guy came up to her, I noticed it was that Douglas guy…wait, he’s in this class too?

“So, um I was wondering…” I overheard him say, the class was almost empty now and even Miss something had left.

“Yeah?” Miley urged, Douglas seemed to hesitate.

“I dunno, do you um, maybe wanna go out sometime?”

Uh, hold the fuck up now! He said what?!

I wished me and Miley was on good terms so I could yell ‘No, Miley! He has a tiny dick!’

I could hear Miley smile. “Um, sure…” She replied. You dumb bitch. You hate high school boys! Their brain cells are dead!

Douglas’ shy smile lit up. “Really? Well um…cool, uh—“

“I’ll text you,” Miley interrupted him “So uh, tomorrow night?”

“T-tomorrow night?” He smiled again “Yeah sure, that’d be great!”

“Cool,” She said as she stood up and smiled at him again, she walked out from the class and Douglas was still smiling, he left shortly after he processed what just happened. What a loser.

I really want to make peace with Miley again, but she just agreed to going on a date with a high school idiot who could be a serial killer. I don’t trust Douglas, he seems sketchy. So now I’m also on a mission to save Miley.

At first I don’t even know how the hell I’m going to get Miley out of that date, an idea came to my mind when I saw this freshmen girl who I heard was Douglas’ sister. Bingo. During period I went over to her, she was alone thank God, I didn’t want a bunch of her freshmen friends to swarm around me while I do this.
She seemed so shocked when I came up to her and smile. “Hey,” I said, she seemed too stunned to function “You’re Douglas’ sister, right?”

Her smile finally came through. She was a usual looking chick, typical, young, innocent freshmen. “Yeah,” She replied.

“What’s your name?” I asked.

“Jane,” She replied.

“Jane? Okay cool, listen um…are you free Tuesday night?”

“Yes,” She almost exclaimed.

“Well, I happen to heard Douglas has a date on Tuesday…don’t you think it would be more fun if you and I join him and go on a double-date?”

“Oh my God,” She muttered “Are you really talking to me?”

I tried my best to not roll my eyes. “Do you see anyone else here named Jane?” I spat a little sarcastically, she blushed from embarrassment and I kinda feel bad. I shrugged “What do you say?”

“Um, yes!” This time she couldn’t contain her excitement.

I managed a smile “Awesome, will you text me when he decides where to go?”
