  Carters POV

"I asked you first" I challenged. glaring slight at them.

"My names is Glenn and this is Maggie. Now you can answer our question." Glenn said challenged back.

"The name's Carter. There's no reason for me to tell you people my full name so that's all you get" I answered gripping my crossbow.

"Hey we aren't here to cause any problems so please let's just put our weapons down and talk" The girl who's name was apperantly "Maggie" ordered both of us.

"Fine" Glenn said putting his pistole low but still on gaurd.

I lowered my crossbow but held it in my hand pointing it at the floor just in case they make a wrong move.

"Look,we just came here to get supplies. We didn't know there was a person here already." Maggie said being the only one that's calm.

"well you're too late. There was nothing here when i came so i guess we're both on the same page" I said fiercely

"Hey calm down. We just want to talk." Maggie said gently

"Ok then go ahead and talk. What do you want" I said now calming a bit down but not letting my guard down a slight bit.

"How many people have you killed?" Maggie asked.

"None." I answered.

"Why are asking me questions all of a sudden." I thought suspicious.

"How many walkers have you killed?" Maggie asked

"Too many to count. Why are asking me these wierd questions?" I asked not calm anymore and pointed my crossbow at them.

"Hey put the thing down...we just want to know if you want to join our group. We're at a prison if you want to join." This time Glenn asked the question.

"What if I dont want to?" I asked

"We let you go and we'll be on our way." Glenn answered

"Maybe these people can help me. They don't look like bad people from what I could tell and it's been a long time since I've been around people....ok i made up my mind" I thought confirming my decision.

"Ok i made up my mind. I'll--"
