I need you back

The attack

Alec POV
I heard a loud bang coming from outside. Izzy Jace and I went to investigate. Have checked the left side, Izzy got the right and I got the back. I saw a huge black figure standing in the distance. It had huge wings, king claws and just looked terrifying in general. I called Izzy and Jace for back up. In a few seconds they were by my side. I fought it with my bow and arrow, Izzy fought with her whip and Jace with his blade.
" You two go back and get back up. I'll hold it off until you get back." I told them
"What are you insane!? I'm not leaving you with this thing!" Jace said.
"GO!"
They both ran inside and I tried my best to fight it off. I kept shooting it but the arrows seemed to have no effect on the demon. It kept trying to hit me with its claws but missed. It tried again and this time it hit me. I felt it's claws go deep into my skin. I fell to the ground and everything went black.

Jace POV
When Izzy and I came back outside to face the demon I saw Alec lying on the ground. Three deep cuts across his chest. Izzy and I rushed to him while everyone else killed the demon. Once it was dead we brought him inside to the infirmary.
"This is my fault I should not have left him. He is my parabati (did I spell that right? please tell me if I did). I shouldn't have left him," I told Izzy. " Of anything happens to him,"
"Jace , Alec will be fine. He could have just saved your life. You don't know what would have happened if you stayed. Now you can be here to help him."
"Someone call Magnus. Alec needs his help."
