I need you back

Not again

"We can't wait forever. We have to get him back as soon as possible. Im not losing him. Not again." Alec said. He, Jace, Izzy, and Clary were all standing together in the library of the institute. On the table next to them was a map of the Hotel Demort and the surrounding buildings. They were working on a plan to save Magnus. They have been here for two hours. Alec, feeling very frustrated, impatient and nervous suddenly left the room.
Once he left, Jace said,"Ill go after him."
Jace found Alec walking out of the institute.
"Alec?!" He yelled to his parabati,"where are you going?"
"Just out of here. I just need a minute. I need to clear my head."
"Alec. Listen. Everything is going to be ok. We will get Magnus back. I promise."
"You don't know that Jace. We have no idea what's going on over there!" He began to shout."For all we know she could be doing to same thing to him that she did to me. What if we fail. We never get him back and he is stuck there for all of eternity!" Tears started to form in his eyes as he turned around and quickly walked out of the institute. Jace stayed behind giving his Parabatai some space. When he was upset or stressed out he usually wanted to be alone.

As Alec walked down the street he had no destination in mind. He was deep in his thoughts and barely paying attention to his surroundings. He went into a random store and ran into someone.
"Sorry about that." Alec apologized
"You should really watch where you are going." The person said with a light laugh.

Alec looked at the person. She had olive colored skin, straight, long, brown hair that reached the bottom of her back. Here eyes were green with bits of blue. She wore a tight, short, black dress with black heels. Something Izzy would wear.
When she saw Alecs bold runes she revealed her warlock cat eyes.
So she's a warlock.
"Im Elizabeth. But you can call me Beth for short."
" Oh uh I'm Alec."
Alec walked away before the conversation got any further. He had a lot on his mind and he wasn't very social anyway. He went up to the counter and ordered himself a black coffee. Once he paid and received his coffee, he sat down at a table.
After a few minutes someone sat with him.
"Hey" Beth said.
"Hi"
"What's up?"
"Uh not much." He lied. " What about you.
"No. What's on your mind? I can tell something is bothering you and im always right." She said with a kind yet sassy tone.
"I don't know what you are talking about. And why do you care anyway. dont even know you."
"You are know to Magnus right? I heard he disappeared. Is that true?"
"Yeah. I guess word travels fast." Alec said sadly.
"I want to help you. Magnus is an old friend of mine. 300 years ago, when I was 18, he helped me how to use my magic. I lived with him for a while. He took care of me. When I was about 150 years I wanted my life to end. I thought I couldn't deal with it anymore. He saved my life. Helped me realize I had a purpose. Its time for me to save him. I owe him that. When do we start?"
Alec knew Jace and the others most likely wouldn't come up with a plan any time soon. This was different then when Camille took Simon. Magnus would be under more protection. Somehow he knew Beth could help him.
"As soon as possible." Alec said desperately wanting his husband back safely.
"Great"
