What the hell!?

Alec POV

For the first time since I woke up I'm back at the institute. I just got here and I miss Mags already. Today Jace and I are going on a hunt. Just a regular hunt. No fighting valentine,no searching for the soul sword are anything to big. I guess this is my parents way if seeing if I'm ready to fight again. I've missed it to be honest. I enjoy it. For the past half hour I've been training with Jace. Every time I come in here it reminds me of when Magnus called me for the first time and asked if I wanted to get some drinks with him. I couldn't respond because Clarey left and I had to go after her. I still strongly dislike her but I wouldn't have met Magnus if she didn't need her memories back. I guess I owe it all to her. I still don't like her though.
Now we are ready to go out. Every time I text Mags when I'm leaving just so he knows.
(Them texting)
Alec: Jace and I are leaving now
Mags: Ok babe. Stay safe❤️
Alec: Always
Mags: I love you ❤️
Alec: I love you more❤️❤️
Mags: Not possible ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
"Alec let's go!" Jace yelled
Alec: gtg. ILYSM. I'll text when I'm back
Mags: ok. ILYSM
Magnus POV

I hate it when Alexander goes on hunts. I can't help but worry. What if he gets hurt again. One wrong move and he could be finished. I can't keep thinking like this. If I don't stop now I'll be thinking about what would happen if I lost him. He is my world. He is my everything. I need to think about something else.
I just realized if Alexander hadn't have gotten hurt we would be engaged right now. Maybe we would be making wedding plans. Maybe Izzy would be here helping. She loved weddings. She was excited about Alec's wedding with Lydia and he didn't even love her. I like Isabel. For the next few hours I imagine our wedding I my head while starring at the ring. I decided I'll take him to Paris I'm two days. Yeah. Two days.
I come back from my amazing thoughts by my phone buzzing.
Alec: I'm back
Mags: Yay!!😁😘
Alec: I'm on my way home now😘
Mags: I'll see you in a bit
Alec: I miss you
Mags: I miss you too
Alec: Hold on mother needs to speak with me
Mags: Ugh
Alec: I'll be home soon❤️
Izzy POV

"Mother you can't make him marry again. It's not fair to Alec or Magnus. Can't you see how happy they are?" I say as I walk into my mothers office.
"How many times do I have to tell you. It's happening whether you like it or not. Same goes for Alec. It's not about love it's about honor. Alec understands that."
"But it's not fair! He has always followed the rules. He wasn't happy. He always hid his emotions. But now he's happy. He always has a smile on his face. You can't take that away from him. Don't marry him off. Marry me off. I'm willing to make that sacrifice for my brother."
"I can't do that Isabel. You're to immature. It has to be Alec. You don't understand."
"Then I can change. I'll do anything."
"Isabel it's final. It's going to be your brother."
"He won't go through with it."
"I'll make sure he does."
I'm to infuriated to say anything else so I leave the room. They can't do this. Alec won't do it. What did she mean by ' I'll make sure he does'? Whatever. I have to tell Alec asap. I thought no he already left. I'll tell him tomorrow.
Alec POV

I walk into my mothers office and she looks stressed out.
"You needed to talk to me about something?"
"Yes. I wan to talk to you about the marriage."
"What? What marriage?"
"Isabel didn't tell you?  I assumed she did and you were giving me the silent treatment. Your father and I have decided to get you a wife. Our family is in a bad place since people know we are ex-circle members so this may help."
I paused for a moment to process this. She's kidding. Right?
"What the hell!? No! You can't do this. You realize I'm already in a relationship right!? OH THATS RIGHT! YOU DONT CARE BECAUSE YOU DONT APPROVE AND ALL YOU CARE ABOUT IS HONOR AND FOLLOWING THE RULES! I HAVE FOLLOWED THE RULES ALL MY LIFE AND  FINALLY HAPPY! YOURE NOT TAKING THAT AWAY FROM ME!"
"I'm sorry Alec but we have to do this. It's for the good of the family."
"It's not happening. You can't make me."
I can't take anymore of this so I leave the room slamming the door as hard as possible. I'm almost to the exit when I see Izzy.
I go up to her and say "How long have you know."
"Known about what."
I can tell she's slightly nervous.
"You know what I'm talking about Izzy. Tell me. How long have you know that they want to marry me off again."
She doesn't say anything for a few minutes. I can tell she's guilty. I can tell she feels bad.
"I overheard mom and dad talking about it outside my bedroom. That was two days before you woke up." I can't believe this. She's known for so long.
"Why didn't you tell me. I would have rather learned it from you. Why didn't you tell me?"
I can see the guilt in her eyes. I can tell she feels bad.
"I'm sorry I should have told you before. I was going to tell you guys at the bar the other day but seeing you guys so happy, I just couldn't do it."
"It's fine... I guess... I don't know I'm going home."
I'm texting Magnus now
Alec: I'm leaving now
Mags: yay!😃❤️ I miss you!
Alec: I miss you too
Alec: I need to tell you something when I get there.
Mags: I like new news
Alec: You won't like this news I can promise you that
Mags: oh no it's bad news
Alec: yeah... ig you should mentally prepare yourself
Mags: umm... ok. I'll see you soon❤️
Alec: Yeah❤️

Omg this was so painful to write. I hurt my own heart.
I would just like to mention the wedding scene in the show was everything. It was beautiful!! I hated his mom though. I hate her in general
