What do i do

Magnus POV
It's been a few weeks since the demon attack. Alec doesn't seem to be doing anything differently. He's just been
lying there. We've looked through books upon books and spoken to do many other warlocks. None had the cure for Alec. I walked out of the building. I just needed to leave. I don't know where I'm going but I guess I'll know when I get there. A few minutes later I find my self at the bar where we had our first date. There was a pool table in the corner and tables and chairs which seemed to be scattered everywhere. Seeing the pool table reminds me of when I cheated using my magic.
(Flashback)
We walked into the bar and sat at the counter. We had a drink and made conversation. We talked about my past (lovers) and how Alec hasn't had much time for a relationship. After a while we find ourselves at the pool table.
"It's just like archery Magnus. It's all about the aim."
"I didn't know they were so similar"
Once I take my first turn I hit multiple balls in. Alec immediately knew I used my magic and called me a cheater.
(Back to current day)
As I have some drinks I start to remember all of the good times together. All of the picnics in the park, the drinks we shared and the countless we slept together. Now every night my bed is cold and empty. I barely get any sleep. I drink more alcohol and eventually stumble out of the bar and make my way back to the institute. As I walk in Jace approaches me.
"Hey Mag... woah you smell horrible. Is that alcohol? When was the last time you took a shower!?"
I ignore him and go up to Alec's room. His room is my favorite place in the institute. It's the only place that is his and only his. The walls are dark blue and the floor is a black carpet. The bed sheets are a lighter blue then the walls and the frame is black. Take a quick shower and climbed into his bed and fell asleep thinking about him. The bed smells like him.
A few hours later I was awakened by my phone ringing.
"Ugh!" I picked up the phone and answered it." What do you want?"
Aldetree (might have spelled that wrong idk. Please correct my if I'm wrong) was on the other end.
"Sorry to disturb you Magnus but it's about Alec. "
"What happened is he ok!?"
"Yes he is fine. But we can't keep him in the infirmary forever. We can either put him to sleep or..."
"YOU THINK IM GONNA LET YOU KILL HIM!!! DONT FORGET WHO YOUR DEALING WITH HERE!!"
"Mags just take a breath and..."
"YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO CALL ME THAT!! ONLY ALEXANDER CALLS ME THAT!! ONLY THE PERSON YOU WANT TO KILL!!"
"If you let me finish I was going to say or we could move him. We need the space he is taking up for wounded shadowhunters. It's your decision. You have two days then I will decide. His parents aren't here so it's up to you. Keep in mind there may be no way to help him. He might be stuck like that forever."
When he stopped talking I hung up. To be honest I don't know what I'm going to do. I don't want to make him suffer but I also don't want to lose him.
I could just keep him at my place. Here I am treating him like an object.
