The Unexpected Happens

Chapter 2

Henry's P.O.V

I decided to just give Jenny some space considering she was somewhat disappointed in me, so I just decided to head over to Starbuck's for some more coffee. Yeah, yeah... I just had coffee a few minutes ago but Starbuck's is like me weakness.

"Man, I just don't know what is up with that Bieber boy and the girls..." I mumbled to myself as I took my jacket and shoes and headed out the door.

"I really don't want to make my sweetheart mad, but I just don't think he's the best influence..." I sighed as I checked phone to see if Jenny had texted me... Nothing.

"Oh well, better let her be... Trust me, I know when girls need their space..."

It was somewhat a chilly morning. That is very hard to believe considering that we live in Florida.

I decided to walk instead of taking the car just because I needed time to think about all this...

~5 minutes later~

After about 5 more minutes of walking and thinking about how Jenny was, I finally saw the Starbuck's sign and decided to pick up the pace.

I was about to head in when the next thing I knew was that I bumped into someone and was on the floor...

"Oh, uh... Sorry!" I said as I helped the stranger up. He had a hood and sunglasess on. I could tell he was a grown-up just because he was just a bit bigger and taller than me.

"That's alright." The stranger said in a deep voice.

I started thinking of how rude it was of me of not watching where I was going and just randomly bumping into him, so I decided to take a risk and invite him for some coffee. Even though I had no idea who this guy was... Oh well... Here goes nothing...

I took a deep breath and sighed, as I helped him pick up some things that had scattered on the floor.

"Um... Uh..." I started saying in a very nervous voice.

He looked at me with his hood and shades on, but I could tell he thought I was crazy or something.

Come on Henry, you're a man! Don't be such a cry-baby

"Well, um..." I said once again

"Would you like me to invite you to get some coffee from Starbuck's? As an apology?...

I finally got the courage to ask

"Um, no thanks" The man said once again in his deep voice. "I've got places to be" He said as he slowly stepped back.

"Uh, please! I insist..." I said kind of nervous again grabbing on to his wrist.

I then realized I was being wierd of just grabbing a stranger's wrist and let go.

"I... I'll pay" I said.

"No thank-you. I really have other important things to do."

"Please" I said but then I regretted it because I sounded like a little kid.

He probably knew I wasn't going to give-up or something because he just gave in.

"Alright, fine" he said. "But let's make it quick because as I said, I've got places to be in"

"Alright" I said as we started walking into Starbuck's.

~At Starbucks~

"I'll get a Cafe Mocha" I said as a lady took our order.

"I'll just get a hot chocolate" The stranger said.

"Alright then, we'll bring your drinks as soon as possible" the lady smiled, and then walked away.

"Um... I didn't really catch your name" I said once again nervously to the man.

"Uh... I can't really tell you right now..." He said

That sounded pretty suspicious to me... Is he a criminal or something?

"Please, you can tell me" I insisted

"I'm Henry by the way"

"Fine, but don't tell anyone, or shout it out... I don't really want to attract any attention"

"Um... Ok..." I said to him not really knowing what he meant.

"My name is Scott... Scott Braun"...
