The Unexpected Happens

Chapter 28

Justin’s P.O.V

~ 2 Hours Later ~

After what seemed like forever, Jenny finally calmed down, and drifted to sleep in my arms.

All I want is for her to feel safe, comfortable, and loved.

I played with the ends of her soft brown hair for a while, until I started getting sleepy myself...

Just when I was about to fall asleep, I heard the door squeak open.

I panicked a little thinking it was Henry, but I was relieved to see it was just Tim with a coffee mug in his right hand.

I sighed struggling a bit to sit up because of the pain, and also trying to not wake-up Jenny.

“Well, you seem to be enjoying yourself.” Tim chuckled.

I gave him a half-smile when he spotted Jenny sleeping in my arms.

“Is she your girlfriend?” Tim asked while organizing some meds in the counter.

I chuckled.

“I wish...” I said smiling at the thought.

“What do you mean, ‘you wish?’ You’re Justin Bieber, you can get any girl you want in the world!” He said writing on his clipboard, as usual...

I shook my head slightly...

“Yeah, well... We both want to be together, but her dad doesn’t” I said getting sad by the second.

I saw Tim sigh deeply.

That was when that awkward silence arose.

After about 2-3 minutes later, Tim broke it...

“Well, um... You’re getting released tomorrow morning Justin.” He said with a hint of disappointment in his voice.

“Oh, uh... Yeah, I guess...” I said plainly.

“You gotta be very careful with your chest area, you don’t wanna hurt it more than it is, right?” He asked grinning.

“Right.” I chuckled back.

“If I were you I’d stay home safely for a couple of weeks, and allow that injury to heal, don’t go off driving to parties or to skateboard practices.” He chuckled as well.

I couldn’t help but let out a small brief laugh.

He makes me laugh... I used to be very scared of doctors, but he’s a good guy.

I smiled... I think I’ll miss him a little... Missing a doctor? That’s weird... Ha!

Jenny finally woke up, letting out a huge dinosaur yawn.

“Good morning sleeping beauty.” I chuckled at her.

“Morning already?” She said squinting her eyes a bit, which caused me and Tim to laugh.

After a few minutes, she finally came back into reality.

Unfortunately, visiting hours were over, which made her pretty upset... But as soon as I told her I was getting released tomorrow, she immediately brightened up...

A couple of minutes later, she left the hospital, disappearing into the darkness...

I suddenly felt very sleepy, and lied down carefully on the hospital bed, trying to avoid the unnecessary pain.

I let out a final yawn, and slowly but surely, drifted to sleep...
