The Unexpected Happens

Chapter 1

Jenny's P.O.V

Ok, so let me start from the beginning...

So, my name is Jennifer Smith but all my friends call me 'Jenny' for short... Well, duh... Isn't that the nickname for every 'Jennifer' in this world?

So basically I live with my dad in Miami (Florida), and my life is no big deal really... I'm just an average 19 year-old girl who attends college and all. Yeah, you must be wondering why I only mentioned my dad... Uh, well... Yeah. My mom passed when I was really young due to cancer.

I miss her (obviously) but I can't really say much considering I was only 2 at the time... But let me just get on with this.

I'm a Justin Bieber fan, but I always manage to keep my calm when It comes to him, so I'm not really one of those insane beliebers that would probably tackle him to death if they saw him.

Anyways, I really like Justin and his music, but my dad has a totally different idea about him. He is always telling me about how he's a very bad influence, and that he's expecting me to let go of him by when I graduate... But trust me, that most likely won't happen ;)

~Morning~ Saturday

"Good morning dad" I said as I headed down the stairs. I was still in my pijamas and I didn't realize how bad I looked until I saw myself in the mirror in the living room.

"Mornin' sweetheart" my dad said from the kitchen reading the paper. (P.S. Jenny's dad's name is Henry)

My dad had his cup of coffee and he was reading the newspaper. He was also still in his pijamas (not surprised)

"Aren't you going to work?" I asked as I opened the fridge searching for something simple to eat.

"Nope, not today... Its a free day today" he said as he took a sip of his coffee.

"What? Do you not want me here?" He asked forming a smirk on his face.

"No, no... Gee I was just wondering" I said jokenly.

"Alright..." He said as he clicked the 'ON' button of the remote to turn the TV on.

He was watching the news. (as usual) The news lady was talking about some crash there was yesterday evening, when suddenly she started talking about a new subject that caught my attention...

"Justin Bieber, the great pop star teen sensation, has made girls in Miami go wild with his arrival. The media says that Justin will be spending his break from his tour (believe) here in Miami." The news lady said.

Right after that, my dad quickly turned off the TV, not wanting to hear anything to do with Justin.

Right at that moment I looked at dad with big puppy dog eyes...

"No" he immediately said as he apparently knew what I wanted.

I widened my eyes even more (If that was even possible) and made a slight frown with my mouth to show him how much I wanted this.

"No" he repeated in a slightly louder tone.

My dad was very protective considering that he didn't have mom anymore, and he not liking Justin did not make things any better...

After about 5 minutes of trying, I finally gave-up. I gave a disappointed expression to my dad and stomped my way up to my room. I really don't know how I was that disappointed considering I wasn't one of his crazy beliebers. But one way or another I still was...
