That was it. They were official.

It was the talk of the day.

I don't know if they immediately "clicked" or it was "love at first sight" or something, but it sure happened fast. I don't know how they started dating after two weeks of seeing each other.

But, I can rant and rant all about it. It was done, and what was done, was done.

I was one of the first people to find out, well, at least I think. Sierra had sent me a Snapchat photo, with her kissing Jacob on the cheek. "My new best friend 😘💘🔥", the caption read.

Ew.

Gross.

I'm not sure if she sent it to only me, on purpose. I doubt it. But if she did, I was pretty sure the caption re-translated to:

"Hey, look at me! I'm a spoiled female-dog who has a boyfriend now! Boohoo, sucks to be you! 💅🏻"

I shuddered, not wanting Sierra and Jacob to be my first thought of the day. I stuffed my textbooks in my backpack, before staring at myself in mirror and giving myself a small pep talk.

Okay, okay, Lily. You can do this. Go through the day without thinking about-

My locker immediately slams shut, before revealing the face who had done it. I scowled and almost rolled my eyes.

"What do you want?" I heave my backpack onto my shoulders, and attempting to walk away from Jacob.

"I just want to say, thanks, for the advice, you know." He said, trying to keep up with my huge strides.

"Oh, about you and your little girlfriend? Yeah, you're welcome." I deadpanned, almost at a jog now.

I felt a hand grab my shoulder, making me face the other way. "Can you stop?" I groaned, trying to pull away from his grasp.

"Hey." He held me still, making me squirm. It was the most uncomfortable. "I-I mean it."

How does this boy not get it? I wanted to burst out screaming and slap him in the face, and run away, so he'd never see me again.

"Fine, just let me go!" I raised my voice, causing the whole hallway to quiet down except for a few whispers. I pull away from his grasp, and make my way into the classroom, trying my best not to let tears fall from my eyes.
