(Hailey's POV)
"I can't trust anyone."

Those were Matthew's last words before he ran off.
It's been 3 weeks and life's been going great other than the confusion I had for a whole week. Since Matt did that thing with the mountain lion and I felt that shock, I've been feeling different. But I don't know what kind of different. But I do know that Mrs. Autumn keeps acting weird when she's around me. I see her less frequently now.
But the weirdest thing that happend since the shock took place a few days ago. I was getting ready to go to bed when I felt this buzz in my left ear. I'm sure it was all in my head.
Later that night as I was laying in my bed, I noticed this mint-blue-ish glow coming from the skin on my arm.
It vanished after a few seconds but I couldn't sleep for the rest of the night. It worried me so I went to take a walk.
Most people are afraid to walk in the woods at night but I'm not. I know there's nothing that can hurt me out there. Walking outside calms me down and helps me recollect my thoughts.
I decided to go to the stream of water because I love the sound of it. I was just about to duck and drink some when someone -I think- tackles me.
What the heck?!
I struggle to get out of the man's grip but miserably fail.
"Stop moving or I'll shoot!" A deep voice says.
I was just about to scream when a damp cloth is placed over my mouth and nose. In a few second I feel myself getting dizzy and my vision getting blurry. The last thing I remember is being thrown over a shoulder before everything went black...
