Between you and me

"Hello?" I wait for a reply. "Hey Savannah." My heart rate speeds up. I hear Gennie and Lina screech on the background. "Sage! Hey its so good to hear your voice, I added you in with Gennie and Lina, it that okay?" I know sometimes it is way rude to call with so many people like this. "Oh yeah, I was just calling for something quick.. my parents are gone..so I wanted to know if you wanted to hang out and watch fast and furious... or something." Sage laughs nervously.

Lina screams and Gennie makes gives us a big "Ooh La la "  "Um, sure." I say. Sage says great hangs up the phone and I'm sure he's already half way here. "Savvy, are you really going to be in your house alone with him?"  Gennie asks. Lina adds; "Yeah Savvy, you know I trust and I respect Sage but..." They stop talking. "Guys we won't do anything stupid, plus my dad will  be home from work in three hours."  I soothe their worries.

I know I should be just as worried but this will be a great test of trust. If he actually loves me, he'll respect me. I respect him. Hopefully this test will be an A+.  "Okay Savvy, but I'm going to want to hear every single detail on Monday." Lina hangs up. I sigh and hang up too.  DING DONG Wow thatwasfast..asusual.

"Come on in Sage." With hour hesitation he opens my door. My stomachs turns to a crate full of butterflys when I look at him. He must have been at the beach or something yesterday (We didn't have school)  because he is already tanning. "Savannah hey. " He gives me a one sided hug. "I brought Fast 6." He holds up the case. I smile at the cover. Dog the bark Johnson, Paw Barker, and Vin Weasel. "Cool, I have surround sound in my room." We race each other to my bedroom. He turns the movie in and we dance to the theme song "We Own it."  I'm so glad we're thatkind of couple.

Halfway through the movie, I end up bothered by what my mom said earlier. Sage picks up on this instantly. He so gets me.  "Savannah, are you okay?" He asks bit he knows I'm not. "No. " I explain everything to him even the part about him no matter how embarrassing it is. "I'm sorry babe." He kisses my head and I kiss his cheek. Then he kisses my lips. I kiss him back.
