Once I'm able to get Dean up. I drive us back to Bobby's house. The next few days are really nervewracking. Dean's face is all healed from the beating he got from Sam.
"Dean? Dean. Listen to a word I said?" Bobby asks. Dean is just staring absent-mindedly out the window.
"Yeah, I heard you. I'm not calling him." Dean says. He finally turns around.
"Don't make me get my gun boy."
"We are damn near kick off for Armageddon, don't you think we got bigger fish at the moment?"
"I know you're pissed and I'm not making apologies for what he's done, but he's your-"
"Blood? He's my blood, is that what you were going to say?"
"He's your brother. And he's drowning." I say. He can get mad at Bobby, but not me.
"I tried to help him, me and Ash both did. Look what happened."
"So try again." Bobby says.
"It's too late."
"There's no such thing."
"No! Damnit. No, we gotta face the facts. Sam never wanted part of this family. He hated this life growing up. Ran away to Stanford first chance he got. Now it's like déjàvu all over again. Well I am sick and tired of chasing him. Screw him, he can do what he wants."
"You don't mean that." I say.
"Yes, I do. Sam's gone. He's gone. I'm not even sure if he's still my brother anymore. If he ever was." It's silent for a moment. Bobby goes and throws everything off his desk.
"You stupid, stupid son of a bitch! Well boohoo, I am so sorry you're feelings are hurt princess! Are you under the impression that family is supposed to make you feel good? Make you an apple pie, maybe? They're supposed to make you miserable, that's why they're family!" Woah, what got into Bobby?
"I told him, 'You walk out that door, don't come back' and he walked out anyway. That was his choice."
"You sound like a whiny brat. No, you sound like your dad. Well, let me tell you something. Your dad was a coward." He did not just go there.
"My dad was a lot of things Bobby, but a coward?"
"He'd rather push Sam away then reach out to him. Well that don't strike me as brave. You are a better man than your daddy ever was. So you do all of us a favor, don't be him." Dean turns around then disappears.
"Those freakin' angels!" I yell. "I am getting really tired of them just popping in and taking people whenever they feel like it." I say.
It takes a few hours, more than it should, but I finally get a phone call from Dean which I pick up very anxiously.
"Dean, where the hell are you?" I ask.
"I'm uh, I don't know. The angels zapped me to this angel greenroom."
"I knew it was them. When are you going to come back?"
"As soon as I can. They won't let me leave. They made the door disappear. I tried calling Sam, he won't answer, you have to try. Tell him it's happening at midnight tomorrow."
"Wait Dean-" All I get is the dial tone. Well fine then. I dial Sam's number, I get the voicemail. "Sam, where the hell are you? Dean, your brother in case you forgot, has tried calling you and you ignored him. You have a cell phone for a reason Sam, so either call me or him because the freaking apocolypse is kinda starting...tomorrow at midnight." I say then hang up. I try the tracker on my phone to see if I can track Dean, but he has his turned off. A few more hours go by and theres no word from Sam or Dean.
Dean and Cas suddenly appear.
"What the hell?" I ask.
"There's no time to explain. Lilith is the final seal, we have to go." Dean says. He grabs my hand and we get zapped somewhere else. Next thing I know, we're standing in front of Chuck.
"This isn't supposed to happen." He says as he notices us. "No, lady, this is definitely supposed to happen, but I just gotta call you back." Chuck hangs up the phone.
"St. Mary's? What is that a convent?" Dean asks. Chuck printed out what he wrote of his book so that we know where to go.
"Yeah, but, you guys aren't supposed to be there. You're not in this story."
"Yeah, well, we're making it up as we go." Cas says. What? Did he just..like...go against destiny...?
Chuck's house starts rumbling and a blinding white light appears.
"Aw man, no not again." Chuck says.
"It's the archangel." Cas yells over the noise. "I'll hold him off, I'll hold them all off. Just stop Sam." Cas says as he puts a hand to mine and Dean's forehead to zap us somewhere else. I open my eyes and see that me and Dean are in, what I'm guessing is part of the convent. We walk down the only hallway connected to this room. We walk down the hall to another one leading off it. We both stop and see Ruby, Sam a little bit farther than her and Lilith. Ruby turns back to look at us, smiles and then closes the doors. We run towards the doors.
"Sam!" We both yell on repeat while banging on the door.
"What are you waiting for? NOw! Sam, now!" I hear Ruby yell. Dean grabs a big candlestick holder and starts jamming the door with it. Dean finally breaks the door and takes the demon killing knife out of his pocket. Sam is sitting on the floor and Ruby stands up when she sees us. Dean starts walking towards her. Ont the floor is a big circle of blood with lines of blood going to the center.
"You're too late." Ruby says.
"I don't care." Dean says. Sam gets up to hold Ruby in place as Dean stabs her. Sam just lets her fall to the ground after Dean removes the knife.
"I'm sorry." Sam says as I walk over to them. A bright light shoots up from the floor where the blood was. The whole convent starts to tremble.
"Sam. Dean, let's go." I say as I grab onto him tightly.
"He's coming."
