Chapter 11

“Nellie do you want what are you going to wear” I asked ? “I don’t know momma” she said. We went shopping yesterday bought her seven different outfits and Alice too. Alice is dressed in a hot pink sleeve less sheer top and a black tutu skirt with a black bow on the front she puts on her hot pink gladiators. Renna is painting her toes yellow. I’m dressed in a strapless a yellow with a white fitted blazer over. Then I put on my glittered out red bottoms Alexander got me.

 I curled my hair and pinned it up. Nellie decided to get dressed in a the cream colored tutu skirt with this white long sleeve sheer top but it’s laced at the top of the back of the shirt. With these bage flats. I put her hair up in a high bun. [The Triangle]  I’m with Alice and Lexi. Alexander dropped her off  she was at her grandparents’ house, Alexander isn’t staying he doesn’t want Marko to know I work at the place his family owns. “Alice and Lexi want something to drink” I asked as I’m holding both of them one in each arm. “yes” Alice said Lexi nodded her head yes.

 These two do everything together. The party was going really well my family and Marko’s were civil my parents don’t like him. I’m putting all her gifts on a table. “Emeli” my mother said. “yes mom” I said. “do you need anything” she asked? “no I’m alright” I said.  then Marko walked up to me. “you look nice” he said. “thank you I try you know” I said. then looked at my phone. “I wanted to talk to you later” Marko said. “it’s Nellie’s birthday all my time is on her” I said. then Lexi came up to me. “ may I please have juice” she asked? “Juice yes you may” I said as I picked her up. we went to the back kitchen. “are you having fun” I asked? “yes” she said.

as I poured fruit punch in  a sippy cup. “here you go wonderful” I said. then we head back to the party  Alexander came to the party, he texted me saying he wants to come plus Nellie kept asking for him. He’s trying to stay clear of me because of the Gonzalez family but he can’t help himself he comes up to me while I’m sitting with Marko’s parents and my parents. He places his hand on my left shoulder bends down and whispers in my ear.“ you sure know how to through a party, and  you look nice” he said. “thank you” I said. Marko’s father clears his throat. “oh um Alexander he was just um” I said needing him to say something. “I was just dropping off  Nellie’s gift” he said as he placed a bag and card on the table. “thanks” I said as I stand up. everyone at the table is grilling him he really needs to leave because Marko’s parents are here.

“well I’m going to go tell wonderful that I hope she has an amazing birthday and I hope she likes her gift” Alexander said. “alright I will” I said then he left. The second he left Marko and his father were whispering. “you good” my brother asked?  I laughed, “I need a drink” I said. “no, no your 21 in two days” he said. “ugh I know” I said. “Emeli” Renna said. “yes” I said.

“did you get the tricky candles” she asked? “yea they should be in the kitchen” I said. “alright” she said then ran back to the kitchen. “pumpkin it’s time to blow your candles out” I said. we sang happy birthday. “blow” I said, Nellie blew and blew. “mommy I can’t get them” she said with joy and laughter. “I know mama keep going” I said. “you got me the tick candles” she said. “yeah you wanted them” I said. her birthday was wonderful.  I’m helping clean up. “can the girls come with me” Marko asked? “no, they have a play date tomorrow and it’s short notice” I said. “oh okay” Marko said. “a puppy really you got Nellie a puppy” I asked? “yeah, it’s going to be at my house I hired a dog person to take care of it” he said.

“papa” Nellie said running up to Marko he picks her up and spins around her. “you had a great birthday angel” Marko asked her? “yes” she said. smiling nice and big. “good well I love you and maybe during the week we take your puppy out” he said. “his name is Chuckie Lou” she said laughing. “Chuckie Lou” I said. “yeah” she said giggling. “that’s creative” Marko said. “well we have to give kisses to papa” I said. Nellie gave him kisses. Then he picks up Alice. “bye papa” she said. “bye Angel” he said then  he left I drove home with Lexi, Alice and Nellie. We get home and Alexander is  watching tv. “did you have a nice time girls” he asked? “yes” they all said in high pitched voices. “good” he said as he walked up to me to take my bag from me. “her gifts are in the car I’m going to need help” I said. “alright I'll get them” he said then gave me a kiss. “I'll get the girls ready for bed” I said. “alright” he said. I walk to the girls room, their room is huge and is like every little girls dream. Their beds are castles. “girls time to get ready for bed” I said as I walk into their room and they are not their. But their clothes are all over their room. I walk out and go down the hall. “girls” I said then I walk into our bedroom the girls are crashed out on out bed. They changed their clothes and went to sleep.“ sweet dreams” I said as I walk to the bathroom and take a hot shower and I washed my hair.
