"What the fuck is going on?" Harry slammed his palm on the wooden desk. Liam reacted by jolting upwards quickly. He looked up at Harry in confusion from his seated position in the swivel chair.
"What?" he asked with a frown on his face as if he didn't have a clue what Harry was talking about.
"This surge from a group called The Bandits? Who the fuck are they?" Harry questioned.
"Harold, don't get feisty with young Liam, he has nothing to do with this," somebody spoke from behind Harry. Harry knew exactly who it was and his body instantly tensed at the sound of his haunting voice. Liam rose from the desk and moved away, Harry watching him with glaring eyes and not turning around just yet. He clenched his jaw as he heard the footsteps of the man approaching.
The man revealed himself to Harry and took a seat where Liam had previously been sitting. He was face to face with Harry and that taunting smile showed that he enjoyed the power he held.
"Should have known you were the cause of this," Harry said simply as he crossed his arms and straightened himself out.
"Sources tell me that she knew that we were watching. If we didn't take action this could have gotten serious. Harold your job is to report and you're not doing your fucking job! Remember who put you in this position in the first place!" Clinton yelled at the end of his argument with Harry.
Harry breathed in and out quickly, trying to relax himself. It was true, he hadn't reported what he knew, but that was all a part of his plans. "You're right, I should have said something but it's fucking hard to get in and report everything as soon as I learn about it. I have a cover to maintain," Harry argued back.
"True, but I'm not a patient man Harry. You know this," Clinton smiled. Harry gritted his teeth at the man and the man just kept his cocky smile. "The Bandits will serve as a good distraction and keep everyone in line as well. We cannot have anybody else finding out about us."
Harry had a thought pop into his head. A very, very evil thought. He thought long and hard about saying it out loud and revealing it to Clinton. He knew what the outcome would be and it wouldn't be a good one. He even thought about running the idea past Avery but then he shook himself from the weak thoughts.
His years of training could not go to waste. If he wanted Clinton to have any faith in him then he'd have to tell him. He had to spill what he knew. He couldn't become a softy, not now and not ever. It doesn't matter who this person was.
"Somebody else does know about us though," Harry said as he eyed the ground.
Clinton was immediately interested. "You don't say?" he raised an eyebrow at Harry. Harry looked up at him and nodded, his eyes showing his conflicting feelings.
"He's clever, he has a lot of information. He needs to be taken care of," Harry told Clinton.
Clinton nodded in response. "We can't have anybody knowing even the slightest details. What is his name Harry?" Clinton asked with a softer tone than he usually had to make Harry more inclined to say the name. Harry gulped quietly before permanently opening his mouth, and never being able to take back what was said.
"Nathaniel," Harry responded.
"The name doesn't ring a bell," Liam spoke from the side.
"Because he's smart. He lays low, and he observes but never talks. He's trouble. He knows we are watching, he is the one who gave Avery that idea," Harry confessed as he panicked and started to reveal more about what Nathaniel knew.
Clinton's eyes grew dark and he shook his head as he tsked, "We cannot have people like that around her. He is obviously way too smart."
"He is," Harry nodded as his eyes turned dark.
