Night Patrol

You landed on your balcony with a heavy sigh. Your bracelet beeped as you de-transformed, with Chichi floating up to your eye level. "What's wrong, Y/N?" She asked with her high-pitched voice of hers. "Nothing.." You briefly replied as you rested your arms on the railings of your balcony, scanning the beautiful surroundings with the vantage point.

"Yup, something is definitely wrong, spill" Chichi said as she sat on the railings. You sighed once more before finally gaining the courage to speak, "To be honest Chi, I don't know. Just seeing Chat being flirty with Ladybug makes me..-"

"-Jealous" Chichi finished your sentence, which made you cast a questioning look at her, before nodding whilst hanging your head low. "I understand, Y/N. You have feelings for him, don't you?" Chichi asked. "I-...I really don't know..but, I think so" You managed to say despite your mixed emotions for the flirty feline.

"But what about Adrien?" Chichi mentioned, making your eyes pop open as realization hit you. "Chi, can we talk about this another time?" You say, not wanting to think about the confusing situation at hand. "Alright-" she briefly said, "-but you still have a night patrol, right?"

Her reminder made you face-palm and groan in frustration. "Let's get this over with, Chichi- speed me up" You say blandly- showing no emotion whatsoever. You transformed into Cheetah before jumping on roofs, carefully patrolling Paris.

A few moments later. . .

You thought of resting for a bit before continuing to patrol. Besides- you've probably been patrolling for an hour, though you weren't so sure, since you weren't keeping track of time. You decided to rest on the Eiffel Tower, resting on the railings while looking down at Paris. 

Ever since you came here, you'd notice how beautiful Paris is during the night. How the lights from houses and buildings were illuminating the night, but the most breathtaking view was the light from the Eiffel Tower.

You took a sharp breath before standing up. You were about to continue to patrol- "Going so soon?" Your actions were cut short by a familiar voice. Turning around, you saw Chat standing there, smiling back at you. "Ch-chat? What are you doing here?" You stuttered as you walked over to him.

"I'm also on patrol, then I decided to rest on the Eiffel Tower, and with my luck- I found you here" He smirked. "Heh, luck?" You chuckled. "Why yes, I'm lucky that I saw you" He said in a rather seductive tone. Your face flushed red as chills ran down your spine, "W-why is that?".

"You don't believe me?" He said as he chuckled. "That's not what I meant, It's just that-...I thought you preferred Ladybug" You say as you hung your head low in shame, waiting for his response. Your words made Chat's eyes shot open as his eyes stared at you. His shocked expression eventually transformed into a sly smirk, "Is this jealousy I smell?"

This time- it was your eyes that shot open. You looked up at his smirking face, "W-what?! No! W-why on earth did you think that?!".

"No need to hide it, M'lady, I know how irresistible I am" He jokingly said. "I c-can't..I'm sorry, I gotta go" You turned to leave, which made Chat curious, knowing that this was actually serious. He grabbed your arm and made you look at him, seeing the sad look on your face made him feel remorse.

"W-wait, you're serious? You were actually jealous?" He asked sternly. You retorted your arm from his tight grip, "I thought it was obvious" You say before attempting to leave, but of course- Chat didn't allow that. "Cheetah, wait" This time- he grabbed both of your hands, now seeing your eyes slightly red as you were on the verge of tears.

He wiped away the tears that had escaped with his thumbs. "I-I'm sorry for the state that I'm in, Chat-" Before you could finish, he cut you off, "Shh, it's okay. You don't have to apologize, I do. I'm sorry for not taking this seriously, I didn't know you were actually jealous" He said as he rested his forehead on yours.

"And it's okay if you have feelings for me, 'cause I'd gladly return them" He say with a smile, which made you look at his cat-like eyes, "R-really?". He grinned, "Really" He said. Your arms flew to his neck as you hugged him, he was caught off guard- but eventually hugged back.

Both your bracelet and his ring beeped, signalling that you two only have minutes before you transform back. "I gotta go, tonight was great" You say as you released yourself from the hug, turning your heels to leave, but got pulled back when Chat gripped on your arm again.

"What is it?" You say as you turned your head to look at him. He didn't say anything, instead he pulled you closer, closing the gap between you two as your lips collided. Your eyes flew open as heat rushed to your face. You slowly gave in and kissed back.

This truly was a great night.

I was going to post this earlier this week, but due to the amount of school activities I have, and for my parents ordering me to study first, I wasn't able to publish it. Thankfully, I did today! Have a nice day! :D
